Next best thing to welding...
This stuff is fantastic and it's so versatile it's unbelievable. I live on a narrowboat and I've used it for so many things from fixing aluminium runners onto steel bars on my hatch cover to fixing registration number plates onto the sides of the boat and I'm now onto my second batch. I've fixed solar panel brackets to the roof as I didn't like the idea of drilling holes. I've used it to seal all sorts of fittings against the weather including where the front window panel (Cratch Frame) joins the steelwork. The big secret to a good adhesive bond is cleanliness, wipe with alcohol to remove all traces of grease and dust and then the only way to separate the bonded items is the cut through the foam with a long thin knife, and for goodness sake get the position right the first time as you won't get a second go. A must in my toolkit.

This stuff sticks!
The door seals on my car doors were starting to come loose, thought i would give this tape a try rather than fork out to have new seals fitted, glad i did. I cleaned doors and seals before using, tape is easy to apply, just take a bit more time when reapplying the door seal, because when the rubber sticks to the tape, it sticks!! and it takes a bit of pulling to readjust the seal, once seal is applied to tape, firmly push seal onto tape, job done. going by the grip this tape has, i don't think i'll be fixing them again any time soon.

good on wood and plastic; not on metal.
My previous review has been a bit too tough because it doesn't stick well on metal.I've been using it on wood and plastic and I think it's fair giving it a better vote since on these materials it's a very good double sided tape.

Super strong, highly recommend for mounting Ring doorbell.
Great value, super strong adhesive, I used this tape to mount a ring doorbell as I didn’t want to mount the doorbell directly into the PVC.Does exactly what it says, if all contact points are clean and dry upon installation it’ll outperform most high street brands.I had to return my ring doorbell as it wasn’t suitable for me and boy did it take me an age to try get this thing off to the point where it had started to pull off the PVC flashing, goes to show how effective and strong this product is.

Really strong tape that doesn't leave residue
I'd run out of the pair of 0.9 mm rolls that I bought but was so impressed with them that I bought the same pair again. It is really reliable tape. I use it mostly for LED strips. Unlike the tape they come with (at least the really cheap ones), this does not change how sticky it is or turn to residue when warm or exposed to light. I've had it holding LED strips up that get pretty hot at full brightness and have found that I'm able to remove it as well as the tape without leaving any mess at all.

Good cheap tape
Not sure I would describe as ultra strong. It’s ok for cheap generic tape. It’s not ultra strong though

Great Tape!
Used this to secure LED lighting strips to the side of a vertical wooden alcove. After reading reviews of how little stickiness LED lighting strips come with, I decided to give it a boost by buying this tape.I cleaned the wood (completely plain untreated wood) first and then stuck a length of this tape from top to bottom.WOW! this tape stuck to the wood like $hit to a blanket, I just knew as soon as I applied the length of tape that it wasn't budging.I then applied the led strips to this and Walla! JOb done. There is No chance of it coming unstuck.

absolute rubbish
Bought to stick my led strips inside our wardrobe, I was conscious to make sure the surface was clean and not to stretch the tape. It stuck for a week or so, had to push a couple of bits back in place but it looked ok.A few weeks further on and some of the tape on the vertical surfaces is no longer holding the led strips so having to supplement with some different tape.I think this might be ok in a less challenging environment, but for 2.2m of LED strip mounted vertically, it's struggling.April update - it's rubbish, it's all come unstuck and I've had to buy new tape - avoid this as it's just not worth it.
