Ann Clark Super Red Food Coloring Gel Large 4.5 oz Professional Grade Made in USA

This gel food coloring will give you a true red color and you don't have to use much. When it first came out of the package I was worried that it "looked funny", but it is amazing. I used to to make red velvet cookies and they were a true red - not like the gel food coloring you get in the grocery store. Using the store bought stuff, my cookies were a rust color. I never got a true red like I did with this stuff. It worked REALLY well.

I've worked with food coloring for cakes for a number of years. I've generally had to use a whole jar of Wilton no-taste-red to get the color I wanted and that can lead to a strange consistency to the buttercream. I was so thrilled at how much less I could use of this and the taste wasn't overly altered. I definitely plan to order more colors as I was so happy with this.

Very bold and vibrant food coloring. A very small amount (like a few drops) got me this beautiful light pink color. I don’t know how it stands up to baking yet but it does pigment frosting well!

Nice dark black gel food coloring. No taste. May look like dark gray in fresh frosting but quickly darkens to a deep black.

The color is amazing I used it in a red velvet cake. I have used a lot of red coloring trying to get the perfect red color for red velvet and this coloring wins the prize.

This colors amazingly well. I just used a squirt in my cookie dough. I thought I’d need more but it was super dark blue with that. I’d probably use a bit less next time. My recipe even had brown sugar in it and it colored it bright blue. I made Cookie Monster cookies and they are perfectly blue. It’s more of a gel consistency and it definitely does its job.
