Lock & lock containers are awesome! I have been using them for over 15 years now. They really do help food stay fresh longer. This size is very handy for cheeses and deli meats, as well as mushrooms, cherries, etc. We use lock & lock for fruits and vegetables we grow to hold them in the fridge for a day or so until we have enough to can, freeze or dehydrate. So much more economical in the long run than plastic bags and more economical friendly because you use them over and over. They stack neatly in the fridge or pantry so you can tell what you have and find it easily. Keeps cookies, crackers and snacks fresh. Thousands of uses, and you can get them in almost any size imaginable. We prefer the rectangular and square ones to the round ones because they stack more efficiently. Hand wash or put in the dishwasher as you wish and they clean up easily. Best not to microwave things like curries or tomato based dishes in them because these foods tend to discolor or stain almost any type of plastic, even durable lock & locks. They also work great in the freezer.

These containers cost more but they are worth it for 3 reasons. Quality Fit Function. Fit was the most important. The quality has a good feel to it. Only time will tell. The seals function very well. Fit is #1. I even have a picture. I am very old and I need to pack sea bags to move from my 20 acre estate near NYC to a condo TBD. Obviously cost is not an issue. These containers fit in an milk crate very tight. So tight you have to turn 2 of them upside down. I am allowing myself 10 crates. Nothing matters but fit. See pictures. I was trying to silica gel dry some flowers and I needed an airtight container that was large enough for my flower blooms. I bought 3 of these Lock & Lock Easy Store Airtight containers. These worked like a charm! My dried flowers came out beautiful and they dried in record time since the container was air tight. Since it worked so well on the flowers I decided to use the other 2 for food storage. I now only have to food prep once a week instead of twice because these air tight containers work to keep air out and prevent oxidation. I also like the way they stack and are easy to store. Clean up is easy too since they are dishwasher safe. This is a good value for the quality and I recommend giving them a try!

This product has many uses. One in particular is cigar storage. Keeps my cigars fresh. Durable material. No plastic smell. Air tight seal. Easily opens and closes. Great for over flow. Love the variety of sizes. Stackable.

We have used these type of containers or use lunch salad. It is the perfect size, airtight, and the lids don’t work as fast as other brands. One thing that is very important to not wash the lids in the dishwasher. This will preserve the seal.

All my dry foods used for baking are kept in these storage containers. They are perfect! I label them with food name and date food is best till. Helps me use product before expiration date! No more waste.

I gave these to my granddaughter for her kitchen. We bake together so she knows Lock & Lock is an excellent product. I have a variety of sizes including the huge ones for flours and sugar because I bake so much. I have used Lock &Lock for about 20 years. They are my favorite containers to keep my food fresh and safe. All of my containers are still in excellent shape and the hinged clasps are still perfect. They don’t pick up odors. If I want to keep it fresh and safe it goes in a Lock & Lock. Other products have hinges that crack and break, but Lock & Lock lasts. I haven’t had a broken hinge yet. My granddaughter loved this gift because she also knows Lock & Lock is a quality product. She plans to buy more and I promised she will inherit mine because they still will be in perfect shape.

I got these to put things like Saltines, rice, instant potatoes..you know..the stuff that will spill out all over if the open box falls over. Lid stays on nice and tight, and it holds a lot. I can easily get a big box of rice, oatmeal, and such in it with no problem. Am happy with them and would recommend.
