Stopped blending after a short while. I only steamed veg for my baby son.Opened it up to find the belt had completely disintegrated. Not recommended for the price paid. I expected better quality from this brand.

Makes consistent purees.

If I needed a blender now, I would not go for this one. It doesn’t steam the food for the minutes recommended so I ended up boiling/steaming it separately. And it’s a pain to clean, you’ve to remove the cutters all the time. I wish I had bought a simple one. For the price this sells, not worth it

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this ready for my baby to start weaning and for the first few weeks it was going okay. It is easy to set up, and I liked that it could steam and then blend without having to change anything. It is quite noisy when in use and randomly blended during the steam cycle. The portion sizes have to be small too so some recipes had to be altered however it just randomly stopped blending. I have done all troubleshooting and tried contacting Tommee Tippee however it has been weeks now - awful customer service. I have purchased a cheap large blender instead for £18 and it works much better than this.

I had the previous version of the quick cook machine so was keen to try this one with extra features.The basic features are the ability to steam and blends things like vegetables. You can set it to do that all in one, but I found steam condenses in the larger jug so your blend can end up a bit watery. I found it better to steam in the small inner basket first, then reserve the cooking water and then blend using as much of that cooking water as you need to get the right consistency.I found the new features of thus model less useful that I hoped. If you are keen to sterilise the device itself, the self-sterilising mode is handy, but I as I understand it, you don't need to sterilise things like this after 6 months as long as they have been properly washed. Most parts can go in the dishwasher which is useful.Sterilising other small items I found unnecessary as you will already have something in place for that by th time you start weaning, such as a proper steriliser that can do bottles as well, or dummies you can sterilise in a microwave.Also defrosting was not as versatile as I hoped, as you are supposed to stick to the supplied pots, but there are not enough of them for serious batch cooking.Overall, this is a really versatile piece of kit but I would not pay extra for the extra features compared to the previous model.

The machine is white in colour and not too large in size and comes with 4 weaning pots and a weaning spoon to get you started. The instructions are clear to understand and easy to follow, getting you up and running in no time. It does everything in one jug. It has a 500ml holding capacity, so you can cook and blend an adequate amount of food, ready to eat straight away or save for your next meal. You can cook and prepare a variety of foods; fruit, veg, meat and fish. Perfect for all stages of weaning. You can blend untill its completely smooth for when you first start or leave it slightly textured as your baby progresses. Having the one machine saves on the washing up, utensils and time. The unit is easy to take apart and clean with warm soapy water. It's power cord is a decent length. The whole set up looks a little daunting to begin with, but it's so easy to get the hang of and use. A great way of knowing exactly what's in your babies food and giving a healthy way of cooking, with steaming keeping in all the valuable nutrients which gets lost when boiling food. Really pleased with everything about it, look, feel, power and performance.

Just took this out 3 weeks ago as my daughter has started weaning and after using for only 3 weeks the steamer basket has cracked as you can see in the photo there is a huge crack from the steam used. The blender has also left marks on the side of the blender jug. Expected the item to last and be value for money but it’s already started to deteriorate without many uses. Very disappointed.

Really good size, easy to use, slightly expensive for what it is though. More difficult to clean than our normal blender but has been great for preparing kids meals. Probably didn’t need this product though if I really needed to save some money
