I was using the Humectress formula from Nexxus for a good while. It smelled great, like coconut, but just felt really heavy.In February I started losing a lot of hair in response to a traumatic injury and was desperate to find something that could help while I dealt with the loss. I discovered this formula and it being marketed for thin and fine hair is why I bought it.The formula is much lighter, and, after 5 months so far, my hair seems to like it a lot better. A lot of reviews mention the scent of this formula. I can’t describe just what it is exactly, and it is pretty potent and off-putting upon initial use, but regular use and how the hair smells out of the shower is actually very pleasant! You just have to give yourself some time to acclimate to it. In fact, I quite like the scent now.I can’t really speak on the volumizing spray as I haven’t much used it yet as I have other similar oils/sprays.

I have fine hair and it's gotten thinner the last couple of years. I've tried products that are supposed to make your hair thicken and none seem to work on me or they make my hair look so stiff.. I only bought this because I love Nexxus Therapy and Humectress and thought it was worth a try. I was genuinely surprised at how much of a difference it makes in my hair! I used all three products (shampoo, conditioner and root spray) and my hair looks and feels thicker. The first time I used it a friend complemented me that my hair looked thicker which was quite a coincidence. Anyway, I'm online now buying back-ups. Sometimes I feel like companies stop making whatever I love so I'm going to be prepared.. This is also the first review I've written for anything, that is how much I want it to succeed so it's available in the future. I did notice some reviews say they don't like the smell but I really like it myself. All three products together really made a difference for my hair and hope it does for others so Nexxus keeps making it.

I have VERY thin hair! At 81, I guess some say it’s normal. I DONT! This shampoo, conditioner, and volume enhancer are the answer for me. I DONT like the containers. It is too hard to retrieve the products. I leave them sideways on the shelf and still have problems . Please provide large mouth containers

If you are not Really a lavender fan, this product may smell like bug spray! However, my husband says it smells like flowers and lavender to him! Sense of smell is a pretty odd thing - I love Cilantro and some people say it smells and tastes like soap! My hair is very fine/fly-away (LONG) and I find that the leave-in spray really helps with that, w/o making it heavy. I have only had this product a couple of weeks, so can not yet comment on the issue of preventing breakage.

First off, when I used these, I knew that it smelled so familiar and horrid. Reading through the ingredients, Cintronellol is in it, which I'm deducing now, that it is legit citronella. Paying $40 for shampoo and conditioner that smells like bug repellent should be illegal.Since I've used it I can't return so I highly recommend you don't repeat my mistake.In addition, it makes my hair feel like I'm in fact washing it with bug repellent. How can something dry your hair out so bad at the ends but make your scalp feel like you washed it with lard. How.Ugh.

This shampoo has helped grow and strengthen my hair so much. I was struggling with thinning and easily falling hair. I used to use the Nexxus Humectress (per my sister’s recommendation) but it weighed down my hair and made it greasy in the wrong ways but not this one.

I absolutely love this product. After a bout with covid I started losing my hair, it got dry, and broke off easily. I discussed it with my dermatologist while I was there for an appt., she advised me to start taking Biotin. Which I did go and buy that day. Well, when I saw this Nexxus product advertised on TV, I ordered it immediately. For two reasons, it contained Biotin and I have used Nexxus hair products for years. I have used it twice and the difference in my hair is amazing! It feels thicker again, the elasticity has returned!! It smells great and you have to use just a small amount for a full head of suds. I will continue using. BTW my husband loves it too!!!

I expected volume, what I got was tangled and awful hair. I’ve used a lot of volume hair products, but wow, I tried it twice with the same results. I bought the set and so disappointed. Not for me and unusual because I love Nexxus products.
