RBC2 RBC17 Replacement Battery RBC 2 17 for APC UPS - Yuasa 12v 7Ah Battery

Ideal fit for my APC ES 550 ups. Simply pulled out the old battery, connected this one and slotted it back in. No issues with size as it's an exact match, so the cover closed fully and properly. Very happy with it and way cheaper than the original. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I've no issues so far.

My APC UPS battery needed replacing and the original replacement would have cost several times more than this did. Spade terminals are a bit smaller but no problem with the connections. Has charged up well and working just as it should at a considerable saving.

I bought this battery to replace failed battery in my APS Back UPS 950. It works and fits perfectly for this application.What specifically attracted me is it is UK made from a long established and trusted brand. 45 years ago, I had these batteries in my Honda motorcycle, they were reckoned to be the best at the time and they still are.Also, the price is considerably less than imported batteries, probably because the cost of shipping of lead-acid batteries is high.I highly recommended product.

Bought this to replace the battery in my APC ES-700. The original battery lasted over 4 years. The UPS just shut itself down without warning one night, with the power light flashing red. Apparently this is its way of telling you the battery's no longer reliable, although the manual doesn't actually mention this.This battery fits perfectly although- as everyone else mentions- the connectors are different sizes, therefore the conections are rather loose. I worried these loose connections would overheat under load so I fitted "terminal converters". It's not rocket science. A quick google for "4.8mm female to 6.3mm male Terminal Converters" should find them. Actually I'm surprised the seller doesn't sell these, I’m sure he'd sell plenty ( see photo)Finally, one of the terminal connections arrived bent flat due to inadequate packing. The battery arrived in a cardboard box hardly bigger than the item itself, with just some shredded paper round it. Given its weight I would say the packaging was inadequate.

This was a direct replacement on my APC power pack that stops my computers crashing if there is a power cut.The old one eventually gave out and Amazon came up with a direct replacement at an excellent price.A couple of days delivery from the main dealer rather than Amazon, but that's what they told me when ordering and delivery was spot on.Simple to fit and after charging the Back Up device is good to go.EXCELLENT SERVICE

Decent fit as replacement for original APC battery.Charged it up fully and did a test on battery power.A device drawing a constant 42 watts lasted 48 mins on this new battery.The specs for the original APC battery indicated it should last 78 mins.Not a great start, but it is very cheap compared to original battery, so it's really down to how many years I get out of it.
