We bought this to prove a concept at church with the idea that once we knew it would meet our needs we would upgrade to a more expensive one. This worked so well that we are going to stick with it.We have noticed that it does not capture the base tones as well as our other mics but this is only noticed by the tech team. Everyone else notices how well it picks up voices. A great improvement on what we had before.We have it on a mic stand. Did not need to use the supplied head as the one on the stand was small enough. Plugged it into our sound system using a standard xlr lead. Not using the wind shield.

Doesn't work at all first using it today wish I tried when first got it terrible

I bought this product a few months ago now, so not going to be harsh,However this is a very good mic, quality & versatility is amazing.My problem was that upon recieving this product, the mic constantly crackles due to either faulty wire/XLR connection or faulty actual connectors within the mic itself.Whenever the wire is moved, the crackles are unforgiving rendering any recording useless,However it is doing wonders as a (Stationary mic) which isn't the intended reason why I purchased it, I purchased this to do interviews where the wire would be constantly moved. So I still need a mic I can move around with which is unfortunate. It really winds me up when I buy something I can't use for the reason I purchasedSince I didn't complain about it as just didn't have time,
