We have clearly stated the specific model in the main picture display. Please check the product number on the back of the IPAD. Our product has a wireless bluetooth link, and the blue light is turned on and automatically recognized for use. No need to link to Bluetooth.

Dear customer, this pen is fully compatible with iPad 8th (A2270). We have done sufficient testing. Can be paired to use.

Q: can u show me how to turn it on? Because my thumb is hurting me keep trying to click on it ?!

Make sure you have charged it completely. Gently touch the rounded top of the pencil. Just once or you will turn it back off. A blue light will indicate that the pencil is powered on. To turn it off, simply touch the top again. If the pencil is not fully charged it may turn on for a few moments, allowing you to write a few strokes, then it will turn off again. The top is touch sensitive as well, so be careful not to accidentally touch it while in use, or it will turn off again.
