Q: Does thist fit in the Derwent carry all bag?

This was purchased as a gift and I am sorry I am unable to help.

Q: The description has two alternatives one states a blender the other states a dark charcoal pencil as the last item , the pictures have the set both ?

I did not receive a blender with my set

Q: Hi, can someone please tell me if this case is compatible with a portrait style A5 sketch pad, and will it fit safely into the pocket?

Do not believe the response from the manufacturer! A portrait pad will NOT fit into this folder as the opening of the pocket is on the long side not the sort side. Furthermore, they have confirmed to me that that do NOT sell suitable refill pads but that the fact that none are available has been passed to their buyers. The folder essentially becomes useless once the pallet supplied has been used. Very poor!
