My daughter loves this set, we use play rice or dried macaroni and it keeps her busy for 30 min - hour! Nice quality wood, doesn’t splinter, I imagine it will last a very long time. Bonus is that it’s aesthetically pleasing!

This is a nice quality wooden scoop set for sensory bins. I love the natural look. It's a great set, but could use a little more sanding in rough spots. It's not terrible and won't hurt little ones, but it's also not perfectly soft and smooth everywhere. The box can be used as a bin if you don't already have one, and fill with sand, rice, beans, etc.

This wooden sensory bin with tools makes the best gift for children who learn best by touching and doing. I got this for my 18 month granddaughter to initially use while supervised by an adult; she loves to dig in the dirt inside large plant pots and giggles as the mess she makes grows larger. We’re all hoping giving her a safe place to dig, pour, sift, and play will successfully divert her attention away from the plants. Her mom plans to crush round oat type cereal and use that in the box instead of sand, since her daughter still puts items in her mouth; the crushed cereal will have a sand like texture and will be scooped and poured many times by busy little hands. Her mom also plans to put this well made wooden box inside a larger plastic bin during playtime so that the inevitable spills will be caught in the plastic bin. I’ll update this review if changes or additions are needed. I recommend this hands on play box.

The media could not be loaded. These are amazing!!!!! I love the natural look of the wooden toys, great for sensory play. And lots of them are included, a really good value. The tray allows for many elements (beans, rice, clay) to be played with. Clean up is so easy and simple. I absolutely adore this set! I got it mainly for the tools and not the wooden bin because we typically do large sensory bins in a big plastic bin/container. These tools are great though. I wouldn't really use them for sand, unless that's your jam. We prefer to do sensory bins with rice or beans and these tools are absolutely perfect!! They were all sanded smooth except for one of the bowls was a tad rough inside, but nothing major. I recommend this set 100%!

I had high hopes for this sensory tool set. This set is very cute and the size is perfect for little hands, but the finish of the wood could be better. One of the pieces was broken when we opened the box. The little handle on the cup had fallen off in shipping. Not surprising, considering each piece is held together with what looks to be a very thin glue. You can see the glue residue on the pieces and in the corners of the main tray.Some pieces could also use another round of sanding. They are not super rough, some are better than others, but could definitely be smoother considering they are for little kids. I will go over them with some sandpaper before letting my child play with them.I think once I fix the finish issues we will get a lot of use out of this set. The little scoops are perfect for pouring rice, beans, etc. and the little cups and bowls are great for sorting and imaginative play. I like that it comes with a storage bag so that we will not lose the small pieces.
