Not expected and even better then imagined!!
4.5 Stars for one of my most anticipated reads of the year!!Amo and Greta's story was not was I was expecting. I love to be surprised, so I am super happy that it was unpredictable and exciting. Amo and Greta meet at a peace meeting of sorts that goes wrong, when Amo hears Greta dancing and goes to investigate the music. When he opens the door, Greta runs out, and Amo chases her, trying to calm her down and thinking she's running because she's afraid of him, but in reality, she was chasing after her small dog that ran out of the studio. When the two become locked in a safe room, they begin a friendship that turns into a young, immature love kept in the shadows.Greta in the beginning is shy, painfully shy and so dependent on her family, that she can't even imagine leaving them to go study dance.Amo is still an incredibly immature playboy, who's father (Luca from Bound by Honor) is forcing him to marry a girl he hates. This has caused a lot of issues within their family, and has had Amo rebelling even more.Greta and Amo go together like oil and water, but their chemistry is palpable and their feelings undeniable. When Amo finally asks Greta to come to New York, to choose him and marry him, she says no. So he marries the awful girl instead, destroying any chance they had of being together. After a year, both are miserable and unable to move on. Amo hates his wife even more and Greta regrets saying no. One moment of weakness and a phone call later, and Greta and Amo start an affair that ultimately changes their fates.Luca was a horrible father in this book. He did not redeem himself as a father until maybe the bitter end, and just barely. I was so disappointed. I was also incredibly disappointed at Amo's lack of maturity in the beginning, especially after he had already met Greta and knew he wanted her, he just hoped she didn't see the papers. Greta was also disappointing, with her shyness and how her family treated her. I was so sad with how sheltered she was, especially with how her mom had been treated, I thought Remo would've been a little better with Greta, because obviously Nevio gets all the freedom (he is cray cray).Overall, I loved this story. It's definitely one of my favorites of the second generation, and I love that Amo and Greta brought together two families for the better, uniting them how Remo and Seraphina being together should have if Chicago wasn't so stubborn and outdated. I cannot wait for Nevio's story though, OMG I am here for the cray cray!!

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
By Fate I Conquer by Cora Reilly⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 This was my most highly anticipated book of the year. I amount of time I spend with friends talking theories about this book is embarrassing 😅 And I couldn't wait to get lost in the Famiglia and Camorra world. It felt very nostalgic to me because we got a lot of the Falcone Brothers , Aria, Matteo, and best of all we got Remo and Luca POV Chapters 🤗🥰🫠Greta and Amo story was beautifully and perfectly written 👏👏👏👏 Cora really put her heart and soul into writing this because it shows!Amo and Gretas first interaction had me so Giddy.🫠 That's when I knew I would fall for Amo the way I fell for his daddy, Luca 🔥💋 (although Luca will forever be my #1🫠🥵🔥😍)The way that Amo would Swoon over Greta. How he would learn and Memorize every detail of her 🫠❤️ How do you not catch feelings for this man❤️He was so in tune to the way Greta's mind work. She reminded me so much of Nino.🥰The sneaking around Greta and Amo did had me so nervous. But also it was romantic to see the great lengths they were willing to go to see each other. Even if they were putting their lives in danger just for a few fleeting moments. There were alot of parts were it had my heart beating fast. I kept saying to myself "How will they be together? How will the Camorra and Famiglia ever make peace?"Greta surprised me the most. She started out as this innocent, Fragile, Breakable, anxious women. Then grew into this Fearless fierced strong woman. She had so much kindness it was hard to believe her father was Remo Falcone. And out of all the characters, I feel that Remo has the most character growth.Overall I loved this book and I can't wait to reread this because it was truly my favorite one in the Sins of the father's series.💫 Qutoes from the book:Amo✨️"A thousand reasons spoke against talking to her, but I couldn’t stay away. I needed to see her again, to hear her voice. I wasn’t sure what the hell was wrong with me. I’d never felt so incapable of controlling myself."Greta✨️"It was only fitting that I should fall in love with a man who was just as bad, as brutal, as cruel as the men who’d raised me."

my fave book of the second gen so far!
when i read bound by honour, i knew i found a favourite author in cora reilly. i love the bibmc & thé camorra chronicles and the sotf series would become another fave or fall short.by fate i conquer is hands down the best book in the sins of the fathers series so far. and let me just tell you something right now. i will always and forever be a famiglia girl — y’all can hate on them all you like — but me? NEVER.i’ve been ready, waiting & dying for this book guys. AND ITS FINALLY HERE. let me just tell you something. i. am. not. okay. this book gave off old cora vibes and i couldn’t get enough of it.i can safely say that so far, greta is my favourite girl in the sotf series. we saw her for who she is after little tidbits in previous books and it was so worth the wait. she’s fiercely falcone. she’s so reserved around those who she is not familiar with but her interactions with her family? was absolutely everything.amo vitiello? the future capo of the famiglia? let me tell you something. carbon copy. like father, like son & i just know he’s going to be an amazing capo. his interactions with his family and friends? i was soaking it up fr.the side characters throughout the book made this made all the more enjoyable and i can’t wait to see what cora has in store for them.and as always, luca, aria, remo and serafina? amazing. there were so many bits that drove me crazy and i was crying quite a bit but this is the easiest 4.5 stars i could give to a book.

Passional and unforgettable
Amo Vitiello, future capo of New York, has always longed for a marriage like his parents, respect, mutual admiration and love, but he has great responsibilities on his shoulders, he will be the future capo of the New York Famiglia, he knows that when he marries, it will have to be an arranged marriage that will benefit the organization, that much is clear to him, until he mistakenly meets her in her pink tutu.Doing what's right and what's expected of him now doesn't seem like the right way to go."Her eyes said goodbye. It cost me everything to keep my face straight. She made her choice and I had to accept it."Greta Falcone daughter of the most feared Capo in Las Vegas, loves ballet as much as she loves her pets, she wants to save and protect all the animals that have been hurt but everything changes when she is mistakenly locked in a cell with Amo Vitiello, her twin brother's greatest enemy. Torn between doing what's right for Amo and his organization and what's best for her family. She will have to make the biggest decision of her life and face the consequences.Feelings they never thought they would experience and feel, torment them and will make them cry to the extreme."It was only logical for me to fall in love with a man who was as evil, as brutal, as cruel as the men who raised me."Greta and Amo will make important decisions for their lives, for which they will have to take the consequences and live with them. Will they really be able to fight for what they want and long for with all their heart? Will they be able to fight against everyone, including their own family, in order to be happy?Remo Falcone, a loving but overly protective father, who would give his life without thinking about it for his children, will find himself for the first time in his life at a crossroads he never thought he would ever reach.“I love you more than life itself, Mia Cara. Never forget that.”Will he really be able to let his daughter leave Vegas and pursue her happiness? Or will he keep her in that little castle with plenty of security, where she's always been?“You taught me that my opinion matters, that you respect my choices, and now you don’t allow me to marry the man I want?”Serafina, I must say that I was definitely surprised by this new stage we see in her, a mother who totally understands her daughter and will do anything to see her happy. The maturity and growth that this character has is amazing.I couldn't forget Nevio, Greta's twin brother and best friend, her other half.“I won’t ever run from you, Nevio. I’ll always be at your side, no matter what.”Since they were little they have been inseparable, Greta the light and Nevio the dark, they care for each other and love. each other. Their future is always to be together, until Amo Vitiello comes into their lives. Will she be able to accept that her sister's happiness is no longer in Vegas? If you are a fan of The Camorra Chronicles, reading all of this family dynamic again will make you so homesick. Each of the secondary characters adds a special touch to every page, from the cousins and the way Alessio and Massimo protect and love Greta is impressive. Even the relationship with the aunts and uncles, from Savio, Adamo, Fabiano, Nino and Kiara.Personal opinion: The Nino-Greta relationship is amazing, the way they understand each other, communicate and support each other, is one of the best you can read in this book.Luca Vitiello is very clear about one thing, after his daughter Marcella's marriage to Maddox he can't keep breaking the rules, or the traditionalists in the Famiglia will get more upset. Do the right thing and what is best for the organization or let his son be happy?Luca released Amo and took a step back. “You know full well that I would never kill you even if it would be the right thing to do!”Aria a mother who from the first book we saw that she is very intuitive with any situation related to her children, will suffer to see all the things her son will have to go through in order to reach his happiness.I have to confess that in the last few books the time jumps had not been entirely pleasant for me, but in this book they are handled so perfectly, that they left me wanting to read more.I have to say that I really liked the first 3 SOTF books, but I was missing something more from Cora. I definitely did not expect this great journey she has given us, she takes us through a roller coaster of emotions, from the first meeting, to the end, this couple will have you on the edge of your seat, they will not give you a break, you will jump with happiness, you will cry, you will get angry, you will get frustrated, you will laugh with them. Will family loyalty outweigh love?

I want to die
Definitely my favorite book by this author. He was explosive. The star-crossed lovers was to finish me off. I didn't think I liked Greta and Amo so much, but what did I like them. This is such an important book for this saga. It marks a before and an after. I still shed my best tears, but it was so breathtakingly beautiful. I will never forget this reading. It has become my favorite book

Shockingly and unexpectedly delightful read
In this captivating book, the author takes us on a thrilling journey filled with a range of emotions. From moments of tension to lighthearted fun and passionate encounters, it's a roller coaster ride that will keep readers hooked from start to finish. The characters of Amo and Greta truly stole my heart, their chemistry is nothing short of incredible. Every interaction, every glance, and every thought shared between them is beautifully portrayed.Amo emerges as a wonderfully crafted character. His instant adoration and crush on Greta stand out as one of the highlights of the book. Furthermore, Amo's bond with Luca is nothing short of amazing. I want to read Amo’s connection with Aria. Despite having her own POV, there is no direct communication between both of them in the whole book.Greta, on the other hand, pleasantly surprises us with her kind and sweet nature. She possesses a good heart, much like Nino, albeit in her own unique way. Speaking of our main couple, their first interaction is nothing short of perfect and remains my favorite part of the book. I must emphasize the beautiful relationships Greta shares with Nevio, filled with love and complicity, as well as her interactions with Uncle Nino. It was a delight to witness Greta questioning him about love, adding depth to their dynamic. The incredible friendship between Amo and Maximus deserves special mention. Though I wished for more appearances from Growl and Cara's eldest son, their bond remains truly remarkable. And let's not forget about Valério, the youngest Vitiello, who adds a touch of humor and vanity to the story. I eagerly anticipate his future presence and love the way he interacts with his parents.Overall, this book takes readers on a captivating journey, weaving together an array of emotions and intricate relationships. The characters, particularly Amo and Greta, are beautifully portrayed, and their chemistry leaps off the pages. With its mix of intense moments and light-hearted encounters, this story is a must-read for anyone seeking an engaging and heartfelt experience.
