Great recipe book for Brits
I have no idea what the negative reviewer is on about. I can't find one recipe in here that is for sandwiches!! Anyways, this is a great book of recipes for those who are into their fitness and health, not just bodybuilding. What makes it even better is that it is geared for the UK market. It's seriously annoying when most books are written by US authors, with predominantly ingredients that cannot be sourced here, and if they can they are usually expensive. And then of course you have the very frustrating task of converting the US measurements to British. Ughhhhh. Sick of it.The recipes are simple, nothing fancy, and I use this along side Tom Venuto's book: Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. I highly recommend it.

Loads of recipes but no pictures!
Bought for my boyfriend as he wanted a higher protein diet to pair with going to the gym etc. There are tonnes of recipes in this book for meals from breakfast to dessert. Think we will definitely be making some meals using the recipes in the New Year. Was surprised however to see that there were no pictures on the inside of the book, which is not a huge deal but it would have been nice to have a pictures to break up the black and white text pages. For the price it is definitely a good cookbook to have, especially if you want to pursue a higher protein diet.

Incorrect publishing
Was interested to make the pumpkin cookies yet ingredients and directions don’t match up. Bananas in a pumpkin cookie?? Would also like to see a breakdown of macros for each ingredient so you can alter accordingly.

Excellent!
Great book, lots of good, clean recipes (makes prep a helluva lot easier), and it's all metric - can't be doing with this "cup" malarky as not accurate enough! Definitely worth adding to your cookery book collection!

pointless book
Its page up and down of recepies you would figure out yourself in a heartbeat. No pictures. No advice. No nothing except unispired recepies that the author has calculated Macros and Kcal on. One per page.The trick is to pass the threshold of starting to weigh and count your food. This book wont help you achieve any goal.Prospective fitness authors, take note: there is a huge market for you, quite easily achieved, since books like this get published.Add photos, add bying in bulk advice, add advice on specific nutrients, help calculting cooking in bulk etc, show bulk vs cut advice etc.

This is a great book! Just reading the titles of the recipes had my taste buds on alert!!. Great to see a selection of interesting and appetizing foods. I have tried out lots of them and especially like the Fish & Seafood section. There is a great range of recipes to keep you eating healthily no matter the meal, from a light snack and breakfast to a good solid main course with a great section on homemade protein shakes!! Also great that is shows the nutritional value on every recipe.

Very pleased
Read reviews and was a little worried about this but honestly I am so glad I bought it. It's simple recipes for ones and dinners for 4. Minimal ingredients and space to put your own pictures if that bothers you. For the price and what you get I can't fault the book!! Very happy I shall be getting other books in future 😊
