It is what it is
Bought this for medical reasons, cant stand the taste of pumpkins so I will keep what I think of the flavour to my self. Never tried any other brand to compare to, its a thickish dark green oil, I guess it is what is says on the tin.

This is my favourite thus far
I’ve tried many budget pumpkin seed oils on amazon that don’t quite fall into the price range of “premium” range pumpkin oils such as styrian. This is my favourite thus far, and here are my reasons;First off, like many people, I take it for purported health benefits. I do find it reassuring that this product carries the seals/certifications of organic and cold pressed, especially for an oil like pumpkin seed oil which is one of the most perishable, given its high polyunsaturated to mono unsaturated fats.This leads me to my second point, the bottle is indeed dark glass to protect such a perishable oil.Thirdly, the taste and colour (dark green) are indeed what i’d Expect from the traditionally produced Eastern European pumpkin seed oils. Though i’m No connaissure, the taste is seems very similar to the best quality pumpkin seed oils i’ve Tasted.I’ve tried a lot of “organic” & “cold-pressed, unroasted” certified pumpkin seed oils off amazon, and none such certifications live up to this one’s quality. Many of these “organically, cold pressed, unroasted” labelled pumpkin seed oils are olive oiled coloured, translucent and a terrible uneuropean/untraditional flavour.I also imagine many of the historically purported health benefits of pumpkin seed oil is related to the carotenoids/chemicals from the raw seeds that give its distinctive dark green and red colours.The only gripe I have, but it’s not worthy enough to deduct a star, is simply that delivery is not always the fastest. Would be great if this product was signed up to prime delivery.Would also be great if the quality & health effects of pumpkin seed oils such as this one could be compared scientifically to the premium priced ones (many of which don’t carry certifications).All in all, great value product.
