KnorrSalat Kronung Dill-Krauter (Salad Herbs and Dill), 5-Count Packets

I lived in Germany for seven years and used this mix always it is easy and the taste is wonderful especially the next day it is a great product

I had zero expectations regarding this when I ordered it. It will now be a pantry staple for me!! It's absolutely wonderful! I just mix a bit of olive or avocado oil and water together, and then, I wish in the packet and pour it over sliced cucumber. It's wonderful with just cucumber, usually an English cuke, but I often add sliced rima tomatoes or any type of tomatoes quartered. The dill really stands out, and it's WONDERFUL!! Whenever I make an Indian dish, like Chicken Tikka Masala and Madras Curry, I serve this with a bit of plain yogurt or light sour cream, alongside theain dish. It provides a great contrast to the spices in Indian entrees, but the dill cucumber (with or without tomatoes) salad is just as great alongside BBQ and fried chicken! There are five packets in this order, making it a great deal, imho. I'm so glad I decided to give this a try. It's so much better than any oil & vinegar cucumber & tomato side dishes that I've made myself. The addition of the dill is fantastic, and once mixed with the oil & water, the dill really comes to life. It tastes just like you've used FRESH dill. It's probably the best dried dill I've ever tasted. I'll so far as to say the dill tastes better than many fresh dill dressing recipes I've made.I'm so happy that I decided to try this! I now. Make sure to put an English cucumber on my shopping lists. I used to by cucumbers every so often and used them sluced atop lettuce-based traditional side salads. Now, I find myself looking forward to having this vinegar & oil based filled mix for either cucumber only, or cucumber and tomato, side dishes at nearly every meal. Using the directions to mix this with water and oil, Knorr has managed to get just right ratio and type of vinegar in each packet to the oil & water you add in. I also love it with a sliced Vidalia onion! I used to love my mother cucumber and tomato salad with oil and vinegar, but THIS has now becomeu favorite. Sorry, Mom, but this is a bit better. If you're on the fence, like I was, I'd say give it a try. But, beware; You may get addicted to it just like me!

I German friend gave me several packets of this item to put on my home grown cucumbers. I use this packet to make a vinaigrette and I also use it to make a creamy all purpose dressing for my garden salads by mixing with sour cream or Greek yogurt. I may add a little milk to thin the consistency if necessary. Everyone who has tried my creamy version eats every morsel of salad. It's so refreshing and delicious! Plus, you don't get all the junk additives you do with bottled dressings.I also use this as a marinade for chicken and beef.

OMGOODNESS!! Where has this been all my life. I love this seasoning packets. I’ve turned my friends on to this. My new obsession for all things veggies. Especially on cucumbers and lettuce. DELISH

Make your cucumber salad taste great! Would highly recommend. My only exception is the packaging, it’s in German I presume and not a word of English. I watched a YouTuber who recommended this and followed her recipe.

Easy to mix: 3 tblsp oil/3 tblsp water. Excellent on thin cut cucumber slices.
