I've purchased several different laser tape measures. Often, I find they are good value.My last one was Alkaline battery and so frustrating. It had a mind of its own when trying to turn it on so I needed to replace. The one before that (unfortunately I dropped it in water) was lithium and had no issues.Made sure the third one I purchased would be lithium. While a slightly different design than the first one I owned, it works much the same.Measuring plasterboard, my metal beads, room dimensions are tasks that become a lot less frustrating with this good quality and functional tool.

I used it to measure wall to wall and wall to ceiling and it was very accurate. I also played with it a bit, testing the other options it has like calculating area and volume and that seems simple and accurate also. Has a good, rugged, feel to it like it will survive in a toolbox!

Bought as on offer. Nice tape, takes a bit to get used too as has various functions. Pretty handy. I like it can be charged by usb .

Like the way it can measure different areas with ease

Highly recommended. Must admit when I ordered I didn't read all the functions so when it turned up I was blown away. The square meter option benefits us massively and cuts quoting time down.This is very easy to use, light to carry on your tool belt, screen is nice and clear, not dropped it as of yet (I will soon) but it looks robust.

The laser built into the tape is showing itself to be very accurate within 1mm on most measurements taken so far, making it very easy to take accurate measurements across distances that would either require a 2nd person to help and or in places that very awkward to use a normal tape only needing clear line of sight for the laser. I would say the manual tape could have better twist resistance near the hook as it has developed little buckles in metal very quickly, however it's stayed usable and accurate so far after few weeks use. Hopefully it can retain its accuracy ove the next 6 months in which case I'd be satisfied given the low cost.

Having the tape measure on the opposite side of the laser makes it hard to use. I keep fumbling when trying to place it in areas.The tape measure also is completely analog, it doesn't show on the LCD screen.Plus, the thing has a weird shape, so its hard to keep it straight when measuring
