Works well. It’s nice to use, the wood feels smooth. The magnates are strong. I like to take it on hikes.

Fun little palette, highly portable.

I absolutely LOVE this micro palette! It’s so tiny, my friends at first thought it was a wooden pillbox. Boy were they surprised when I set it up! It felt like I was performing a magic trick. So far, my palette has been on several hiking trips with me, it has been in a kayak trip, and I also have taken it on just random trips to the store or wherever and paired with my tiny sketchbook it is a wonderful way to destress and make some impromptu art on the go. For my watercolor paints I have my three primaries, Davey’s and Paynes grey, ochre and violet. These meet and exceed my color palette. The mixing well is nicely sized and I love that it has a smooth surface where I can mix my colors and when done wipe clean with no stress or scrubbing. So far it has not stained either which is awesome! The magnets are strong and hold the palette together well. I simply love this palette and its versatility, I recommend this to any artist who loves a bit of novelty and adventure.

Very tiny! Will be interesting to see how this works bc it is so small I’m hoping the paint doesn’t dry out

I had no idea how small this actually was until it arrived! I purchased this for my backpacking trips because I wanted to paint some of the amazing landscapes that I see in the PNW. I use my watercolor tubes to squeeze out some of the paint into each of these little wells, and then mix on the mix panel. I purchased a very small watercolor book to clip the paints to. It works magically and I couldn't be happier. Only caveat is that my kids are obsessed with this too! they keep stealing it from me when we are home and they like to paint with it for fun!

Well made, magnets work better than expected. Nice design.Easy to handle while traveling. (I have the small 8 grid)The resin (or whatever it is they added for the paint spaces) is pretty slick. Makes cleaning easy and protects the wood.I’d love it to be a bit slimmer, but it’s still a great little tool.

I was thinking it was slightly bigger but then soon realized I LOVE it this small! It can fit in my pocket now and I don’t have to drag around every color and “stuff.” An old film can is enough water on the go and I bought a set of 4 traveling sable brushes to go with it. It’s just enough to capture a moment, like photographs do. I do with the magnets were slightly larger but so far the small ones are enough. Love! Love! Love! Just ordered a 15 slot one to go in my car with a bound watercolor paper book.

Perfect small size - fits in pockets or small travel kit and still holds enough paint to last for several sketching sessions on the go. Love this palette, would definitely buy again, and highly recommend.Came exactly as described, magnets are strong to hold it together, and the rose gold clip to attach palette to sketchbook is a nice addition. A wasi tape roll was also included, which was a nice gesture. Will buy from this seller again.
