well made and heavy duty wire. I use mine plugged in line coming from the socket on my generator to keep from unplugging motors and items I want to turn on and off at the end of a long extension cord.

I bought this switched cord to make it easier to disconnect a USB-C dock from power. Prior to buying this switched cord, I would have to disconnect the dock from power by pulling a bullet-style connector from a power port. While that worked, I was concerned that doing this over time might potentially wear out the cord or port. Now I'm able to use you the large toggle switch to turn the power on and off and it works perfectly. It is "chonky", but it's not within anyone's eye line, and it can remain permanently connected. Highly recommended!

I added the switch to our grill gazebo to control the heating element, and it’s been fantastic! (it's located in the top left corner) The cord is durable and works perfectly for outdoor use. The button is a little hard to push, but that’s only because it’s covered to protect it from the elements, which I actually see as a great trade-off. It’s not so difficult that it’s unusable, and once you get the hang of it, it’s a convenient way to control the power. Overall, it’s a great product for outdoor setups, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Does the job! The two switches are covered with a plastic piece that can make it hard to isolate each one, but that is not a problem in our case, so very pleased, and like the color coding too!

I got this for one of those annoying appliances that won't completely turn off, and keep grabbing at one's attention.The appliance is supposed to draw only 15A but maybe it sometimes draws more, because the plug-in 15A switches I was using earlier kept failing. Then one of them overheated and fried the appliance plug :(So after replacing the power cord, I got this, in order to really turn the thing off.It's nice that it doesn't have a light, just an unobtrusive black switch.If this switch fails soon too, stars will fall!
