I was dithering about buying an Air Assist kit...
...but am so glad I did.Yes, it makes cutting about 30% more efficient (so you can either increase the speed or reduce the power/number of passes) which in itself is appreciated, but I personally found the reduction (or should I say near elimination) of smoke and soot damage on the material truly transformational. No more having use fiddly masking tape to protect the surface for me!I'm mainly working with Mount Board, so the results may be different for you depending on your material, but the couple of project I've done with Plywood also came out pretty much damage free.Yes, you need to wait a short while for delivery due to shipping from (presumably) China, but it arrived exactly on the first day they said it would, and I was provided with updated tracking details every step of the way.BTW - I NEVER write reviews, but felt compelled to do so this time.

Big difference when cutting
A bit fiddly to connect to a sculpfun 5.5w but up and running doing its job.
