I am amazed at how little effort is required to rotate the faces on this cube. It makes one handed operation a breeze.

Pros:-excellent features and performance for the price-edge-to-corner magnets feel good-maglev upgrade kits available-popularity means tweaking knowledge is availableCons:-you will suddenly want to spend money on speed-cubing accessories: lubes, timers, expensive flagship cubes, 4x4x4s and other puzzles, WCA competition entrance fees, plane tickets to world championships, etc-some high-end features absent (core magnets, center travel tool-less adjustment)-matte surface finish; may wear out to a glossier finish over time, but that transformation is uncontrollableBottom line: this is a very popular speed-cube, for a reason. There may be better cubes, but those are more expensive, or haven’t been invented at the time of writing.

When you first open the package you think it feels cheap, but I have all the Rubiks cubes originals and in comparison this thing as miles ahead very easy to use anybody that wants to learn to use one. This is a very good product to purchase.

High-quality product for the price, just a bit stiff, magnets are strong and good, so very high quality, especially for a beginner like myself.

I was genuinely surprised at how easily and smoothly this cube turns, for $16 this is a very fun cube to use I recommend this to anyone! I recommend getting a weight 5 lubricant for this cube if it feels too loose.

This cube's like glass. Incredibly smooth action. I started out solving a standard Rubik's Cube, and I was used to binding when you get in a hurry. This doesn't bind. Corners are radiused, and it indexes positively. It also has 9 tension settings for that, but I haven't messed with it. It comes with the tools. For those who don't know, when you learn the cube algorithm, you develop a feel, or muscle memory with the standard cube. It doesn't index, or lock in position, and has a certain amount of drag when solving. With this speed cube, it's so slick, that sometimes it moves into position fast enough that it messes with my rhythm, or muscle memory, and I can lose my place. A little bit of practice overcomes that easily though. If this is your first cube, it wouldn't an issue, because you would be used to it as you learn. After using this one, it's tough going back to the original, though I keep my original displayed, and solve it now and then. My best time on the standard cube is 2.5 minutes. I haven't timed my speed cube yet, but my time has to have improved, if for no other reason than the rows index into position easily. I might update once I timed myself.

While I will never make an attempt at solving one of these again as long as I am living and breathing or even thereafter, I am pleased that I chose to purchase this particular model of the cube.Positives:✓ the tension is fully adjustable which is critically important because if it is too loose, when you are close to solving, one tiny little slip and you have a mess on your hands;✓ it comes with a cute little case to store your cube in for display or just to keep it intact while you are still trying to solve it. I cannot figure out what the little doohickey is that seems to be able to make it stand on its side for display but that is included if you can figure it out (if you can figure out the cube you can likely figure out how the little doohickey works to stand it on its side. I was too exhausted by the time I solved the cube to try to figure that out as well)Potential Negatives:✓ the yellow side's faces are WAY too light and very difficult to discern from the white side's faces unless you are in very bright light. I put little star stickers on all of the white faces (I had them for filing purposes and just stuck them on each of the white faces on the white side so I didn't need bright sunlight in order to figure out white from yellow)

Ive seen people talking about how good the cube is and they are right. It might be too fast in the beginning but by adjusting the compression to 7 clicks it is very controllable and fast. Highly recommend.
