Healthbeds Low Profile Luxury Cooltex Talalay Latex Pillow

I am not a big reviewer but having just spent £180 on 3 different pillows this month on the quest to replace this healthbed low profile latex pillow, there is no way to deny that this is the best pillow I have ever had. I bought my first in May 2017 and it served me till Jan 2022 before showing signs of needing replacing. Unfortunately, Amazon no long stocked it, so I tried alternatives and none came anywhere close. Forget the talatex talalay which is a soft mess and the noffa bouncy pillow is pure prison issue; so hard you could knock someone unconscious with it. I have now tracked down this pillow off amazon and can't wait to re-experience blissful sleep again. It doesn't take much to send my neck out of whack and I have to be very careful in as far as neck support. I am a side sleeper predominantly, with occasional front sleeping and this pillow is perfect in terms of profile and all round thickness. It is soft and supportive, which is so hard to find in pillows. It is a generous size to pillowcase and feels luxurious. It is also indeed cooling as it states, as my body temperature can fluctuate over the course of the month but my head maintains a steady temperature. If you need further convincing - I have never thought to give a pillow as a gift before, but this was such an incredible pillow I once gave one as a birthday present as the ultimate expression of care. Put simply, this pillow is the holy grail for those that desire soft, supportive, 5* hotel quality luxury feel sleep enhancing pillow joy that will have you waving goodbye to the sore neck you experience in your waking hours.

I've tried so many different pillows and spent so much money!!! The memory foam was to hard and got really hot fluffy pillows soon feel the same as do feather ones. I researched for ages and found so many reviews saying the same thing. They talked of this 'miracle pillow' that they'd had and was trying to replace, but the company had been sold and the new version just didn't compare (Dunlop). They too had searched and found this one was the closest. I too went for the low profile as I have arthritis in my neck and wake constantly to adjust my pillow. So far, I'm really very happy as it does kind of role with you and supports your head, yet it's soft and bouncy. It's hard to say if it makes your head feel hot yet, as we haven't really had summer weather, which is why I haven't given it 5 stars. I will update my findings then. Best pillow to date.

This pillow is superb. I originally had a Dunlopillow but it needed replacing and I'd read that they'd changed the brand so they weren't as comfy. A review on that pillow pointed me in this direction and I decided to give this one a go as I'd read it was lovely and soft and equivalent to the old style Dunlopillow.Well I can say it definitely is as good as if not better than the original Dunlopillow I had. It is lovely and soft yet gives the right support for me. I suffer a lot with neck pain and this pillow has been brilliant - not too thick so as to hurt my neck. I would definitely recommend this to one as an alternative if you are looking to replace an original Dunlopillow.

Update: I don't think this is as durable as a Dunlopillo. It's already losing height and it looks like I will need to use a second pillow underneath just like with a normal pillow.A recurring opinion about this pillow is that it is closer to the original Dunlopillo than the current Dunlopillo. What I can say is that having used the newer Dunlopillo the main difference for me is that it took me about a week or more before the slight neck stiffness dissapered (probably as it molded to my head/neck shape). This pillow is slightly softer and has only taken me two days for the neck stiffness to almost completely disappear. My Dunlopillo is still being used after a couple of years. It will be interesting to see if this lasts as long.

I have had this pillow for several months now, and am not one to usually write reviews but I love this pillow so much I thought I should... I am another one who harks for the old Dunlopillo, but seen as we can't get one this would be my recommendation for the closest replacement. I have tried several (and some much more expensive) replacements but with this one I am FINALLY happy.I am a fidget sleeper - I always start on my side and wake up on my back, and find it great in either position so what ever kind of sleeper you are, this really should give this one a go.Several months on, it hasn't lost it's shape in the slightest, and I haven't ever needed to plump it up. It is springy, but just enough to be pleasing and not annoying.

If this is low profile then the High Profile one must be like a small mountain! It is very firm, which is what I wanted, but far too high for myself or my much broader husband. It is more chunky and firmer than his old Dunlopillow , even allowing for that to have become broken down over time. I like the feel of the materials used, inside and out. The cover is soft and smooth. You don't feel the knobbly bits on your face. I cannot detect much latex smell but then my sense of smell is not brilliant. However its completely useless for my neck and I will be returning as its too expensive to consign to the guest room.

Have used latex pillows for decades and this is the second Healthbeds purchased as unfortunately the Dunlopillo that we used to buy have changed a lot over the years. However, this one is just the right depth and not too soft, so is still supportive for my neck. Great price and quick delivery too.
