Omron M3 Intellisense Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

Bought this BPM as a replacement for an Omron MIT(HEM-751-E) which has been used by my wife for many years. That has been a very reliable machine so, after researching newer models, we decided to stick with an Omron. It proved very easy to set up and easy to use. My wife is delighted with it as it stores readings and also provides averages if you need that. The previous model did not have this feature. It is also a very competitively priced machine so, all in all, we are very happy to recommend this BPM.

I bought this as the doctor recommended I take my blood pressure for checking before I saw them in a month's time. I tried one on the wrist but just couldn't reconcile the readings. This is easy to use and well made. I bought this one rather than a cheap lower model version and I think I have made the right decision. The lower model is loaned out from the doctor and that hurt my arm and I struggled with getting the readings. This one no problem would recommend for anyone wanting to keep an eye on their blood pressure readings

I have confidence in the BP measurements this produces, unlike a wrist BP monitor that gave very varied and results that I thought were unlikely to be accurate. It is easy to use and tells you if the cuff has been applied incorrectly. It has a memory, though only for one person. I think it is a good idea to download a BP app to track measurements.

The monitor arrived on time as expected. It took a few minutes to read the instructions set it up and I was away.Just follow the instructions and it works very well. Make sure though that you have the correct size cuff for your arm. Additional ones are available if more than one person is to use it and you are different sizes.Sit quietly in an empty room and relax for 3-4 minutes, sounds, the presence of other people particularly talking or listening will adversely affect your readings.I had mind checked against the one at my local surgery and it was spot on.A well built product. I would recommend it.

Bought this to replace an old broken machine. Took it to the GP surgery and they said it was already calibrated and working exactly how it should. It has good big numbers and the button is easy to use. Also has good memory facility. It bleeps in time with your pulse, whilst taking BP. The armband is very good and has markings to show where it should be placed on the arm, which is useful.All in all, very happy with it.

The wife uses the device most days and, since she can have an erratic heart beat, it will warn of that and discount potentially erroneous readings. The memory will record the results for up to two people (Systolic BP, Diastolic BP and heart rate) and average several sets (e.g. 3) readings. As I don't use it often myself, I get a bit mixed up trying to do the averaging. There are few buttons and you need to read the manual. The screen is very clear and there is a paper chart to plot your results in figures and graph for quite a few occasions. It has been in use for 4 months and the 4xAA batteries are still very healthy. No need to splash out on a mains adaptor, I don't think.

The product was supposed to be a direct replacement for the last one I had for many years of faithful service. This one feels much worse quality and the cuff umis really difficult to use as it keeps going around on your arm when you try to secure it.

Not the same M3 model as the one I was replacing.Amazon advert shows my old Omron M3 (HEM-7131-E) which has warning lights on left side of Screen.The new Omron M3 (HEM-7154-E) supplied has black warning symbols on right side of screen which in my view is not as good as the old system.
