Excellent product
The 100ml jar arrived as scheduled. It is a lovely light solid oil that spread well and has soaked into the boot leather. They are new safety boots with quite stiff leather and will need a few applications plus the warmth of my feet, so time will tell if they soften as advertised.

Very effective and easy to apply
This product does a good job for re protecting hiking bootsIt does the leather good and I use it every second or third boot clean ( I treat and clean boots after every session)It’s a bit unpleasant smelling as you apply ( ok once on boots)and it does appear to be made of mink oil so if you are a vegan or worried about boots not smelling of roses I would say look elsewhereAs a waterproofed & nourishing dubbing it’s spot on

Great quality
Just dug this out for this winter for dog walking boots as last year it worked superbly compared to sprays i use. Gave the boots two coatings and they lasted a few walks in boot length wet grass plus i didn't have any worries when walking through deeper puddles etc etc. Great quality and easy to apply with any rag or sponge. Recommend for my smooth leather boots but i use spray for my other suede leather boots as that dries into them.

Great nourishment for your boots!
Have been using a very firm wax on my boots before purchasing this product but found that although it was giving a waterproof protection it just wasn't feeding the leather. This product is a soft wax with an oily feel so it feeds the leather as well as protecting them from water and mud, a far better solution for taking care of leather boots/shoes.....I gave 3 coats to my new boots and they look fabulous, tried them yesterday in water and very slushy mud and it all wiped off and are ready to go again

Essential for leather
Bought for my leather paraboots and they have been replinished and revived from being used daily in the sun.The oil is almost orderless which is great but the it is only for rehydrating the leather so I would recommend also buying 'beeswax' for more added protection + waterproofing.Looks like it will last a long time but will definitely be buying again once it's gone as the oil is essential and very affordable in my opinion.

Powerful stuff
It functions well as a waterproofing and to nourish and rehydrate leather, particularly if the leather sees a lot of use. It does however smell exactly like petrol when you open the tin so be aware that your boots could get a slight petrol station whiff to them if you put on a lot in one go (which I would advise against with any mink oil because it can oversoften the leather), but it disapates pretty quickly so isn't much of an issue.

Better for my Docs than a certain other product!
I've been using 'Wonder Balsam' on my Docs for a while now but never been totally happy with it. Although it's quite easy to apply and easy enough to 'buff off', I never feel that it soaks in enough. After watching a few videos on You Tube, I discovered 'Mink Oil' - thanks Rose Anvil!Lately I've been using 'Liquid' Mink Oil on my black Docs only as it does tend to darken lighter colours and the effects have been amazing. It really does soak in and it really does help to soften the leather and it makes the 'break in' period so much easier. Now back to this product - you get 100ml versus Wonder Balsam's 85ml - and it's cheaper!Heat your boots/shoes 'gently' and then apply with a small piece of cloth and give it a decent coating - and make sure you get it into all those little creases and corners. Heat gently again to help this product soak in and leave overnight. Next day just wipe off the excess and you'll find that it leaves a better shine than the other aforementioned product. All in all, I've been totally converted to Mink Oil and my Docs look all the better for it. I can certainly highly recommend this product.
