VIBE Optisound 8" Underseat active bass enclosure, Black, OPTISOUNDAUTO8A-V2

Fitted this in my Son's Peugeot 107 (2012), and it fits perfectly under the driver's seat.Installation was easy using the supplied wiring. We used the low level input (an RCA lead is included) as the head unit in the car had a subwoofer connection. Cable length is quite generous and the supplied fitting instructions were easy to follow. Using the low level input, the unit requires a permanent 12 volt live, switched 12 volt live, ground and signal wires only, so pretty easy to install if you have a basic understanding of car electrics.The entire install took about two hours, and we took our time to ensure wires were routed properly and all connections were good.Sound quality is surprisingly good and compliments the small dash mounted speakers in the 107 well. There's now a decent level of bass, which is noticeable but not overpowering, and it suits the car well.

Right, despite some poor reviews this thing packs a punch but it depends on what you listen too. This is ideal for the punchy bass not the long deep grumble you get with a big enclosure. I have this hooked to a top line radio from the early 2000's that gives lots of audio control to really tune it in. For the money and space it's fantastic. Fitted to a defender 90 on the rear door and highly recommended for this vehicle

If you just want a little extra punch like I did and not car shaking bass then this is fine

Broken within 4 months and said it wasn’t under warrenty and are asking for £80 to fix it

Barely adds any bass

Fitted this to my mk3 focus st and it sound really good!I didn’t want anything to shake the car or cause a nuisance, just want something to add a bit of depth to the inbuilt Sony stereo and this fits my needs perfectly.I have this attached to the left side of my boot and it’s overall footprint is really small, which is great! Wiring the subwoofer in was really easy also!Can’t recommend this enough! If you need something small and discreet without shaking your car to bits then this is for you :)

Great piece of kit, good sound quality. It really made a difference.
