Large and powerful
Best steamer I ever bought, it’s the largest in the market so I can easily put whole chicken and fish inside. And save me lots of time as it’s stronger has two boiler

Easy to set up and get steaming
So far, quite impressed. The digital controls were initially a worry, but are actually simple and instinctive. Easy to set up and get steaming.Mainly bought to steam veg for weaning our baby, but we’ve hijacked it for ourselves. Salmon fillets cook beautifully and broccoli is a favourite. It doesn’t really get messy post-cooking, you might get away with a rinse if just doing veg. However, it does take up a lot of the dishwasher if you want to do it properly (wash it in the sink? nah...)This low, wider style of steamer was chosen over the high stacking ones due to our under-cabinet height. But the bonus feature of this model is the ability to steam separate compartments for different times - and have them finish at the same time. Don’t worry, no maths required, it works out the sums for you.Not tried spuds yet, I’ll stick to the stove for them. Potatoes aside, should be room for a family of 4’s veg needs, but no more.Nice steamer... but then it’s my first.

Great machine and well made
Love this steamer, really good quality and the benefit of individual timed cooking / steaming compartments ( take out the divider for one large cooking compartment ) makes steaming vegetables a dream, would certainly recommend this appliance.

A healthy meal, all in one, in 30mins!!!
I am a single guy so I really can't be bothered to go to all the hassle of cooking for one person.I have used a 3 tier steamer before but didnt like it very much.I have been using this steamer about 3-4 times a week on average for about a year now.I have cooked vegetables, meat and fish in it.I usually steam potatoes for about 30mins, cauliflower for about 15mins, broccoli for about 5mins, sprouts for about 15mins, carrots for about 15mins, eggs (hard boiled as it were) for about 15mins, chicken breast fillet for about 25mins and salmon fillet for about 20mins.I have even cooked burgers, meatballs and bacon in it.I have also cooked marinated food in it by wrapping it up inside cooking foil.Every time I get fresh tasting food not overdone or underdone with these timings.I usually top up the water after 15mins (so half way through) bu use fo the filler flap that pulls out and pushes back in.It's easy to clean. I just wash it up by hand as I don't have a dishwasher. It's not too big so doesn't take up a lot of space. It can easily cook a decent sized meal for 2 people at a time, maybe 3 if smallish portions, but no more in my opinion. But again as I am a single guy that is not a problem. All in all it has never let me down, it is still working perfectly and I haven't had a single issue with it.The only thing I would point out is that it's very slightly noisy as the water is boiled and sent through the nozzles into the steaming compartments, but it's not a criticism, it's just an observation. The instructions are clear and easy to read and work out.I would absolutely recommend this to someone in my position or for a couple who want healthy and fresh tasting food with the minimum amount of effort and washing up!I myself couldn't live without it now.

Brilliant priduct
I love this machine. It's very well designed. Compack to store. Easy to clean. Cooks healthy tasty meals with no mess. The dual controls are great and you can cook for different times in each side yet it's all ready at the same time.. Would recommend

Disappointing
This is my 2nd of these steamers, and this one is now close to the end of its life unfortunately. Both steamers have lasted approximately 2 years, and suffered the same problems. My strong recommendation if buying this steamer is to register the 2 year warranty with Morphy Richards as soon as you can. Morphy Richards will not honour the 2nd year of the warranty if you do not register the warranty within 28 days of purchase. I know this because I left it too late registering my steamer and they wouldn't honour the 2nd year. There are many positives about this steamer. It's easy to use, and easy to clean. We've mainly used it for vegetables and they cook really nicely in it.However, there are quite a few negatives.. Firstly the handle for the lid is glued to the lid. With regular use, the constant heating and cooling cycles cause the handle to separate from the lid.The next issue is the buttons, after a while the icons identifying what each button does will start to come away from the button itself. It looks really unsightly. We'd only ever cleaned the unit with a damp cloth, so this shouldn't have happened. The final issue with the unit is relating to the food container itself. The areas where steam enters the container at the bottom start to fracture. Again I'm sure this is relating to the constant heating & cooling of the unit through regular use. They eventually completely break apart and the unit can no longer be used. For the above reasons it's vitally important you register the warranty, as you will need it.For cleaning, the recommendation is that you fill the unit with white vinegar and run the unit on a 45 minute cycle. I would highly recommend you do not do this with the unit indoors, the smell of steamed vinegar is absolutely appalling. I wait for a dry day, attach the unit to a long extension lead and do it in the garden. When this unit eventually breaks, I won't be buying this brand/model again.
