Superb!!!
I am delighted with these scales, they are neat, pretty (with the silver sparkle) and accurate, easy to use and a great addition to my bathroom. They neatly slide beside the bath and are ready to had, springing into life when you step on them!! I love the fact that you can have stones, pounds, and ounces as well as kilograms. All round a great product!!

Does it add on??
These bathroom scales look lovely and I thought they were weighing correctly. However my partner became suspicious (weighing himself every day tut tut!!) when there was never any variation in his weight and we all know that doesn't happen. Being into electronics he has his own ideas why this is. To try and prove him wrong I weighed myself and then picked up a bottle weighing 12oz and weighed myself again. Now remember this is a set of scales which gives you ounces as well. Not ONE ounce difference from my first weighing in. I tried this on a number of occasions but the result was the same. Can the scales see who is standing on them and remember the first weight???? When I chose a full wine bottle then there was a difference. This is no good as we all want to see the odd 8oz difference in our weight. I'm afraid I will be getting in touch with Salter about this :-(ONE WEEK LATER - I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SALTER ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THEY HAVE SENT ME A NEW SET OF SCALES FOC WHICH SEEM TO HAVE A DIFFERENT ELECTRONIC SET-UP AND AND AT THE MOMENT ARE WORKING EXACTLY AS I WOULD EXPECT THEM TO - WELL DONE SALTER!!! MY STAR RATING HAS NOW INCREASED CONSIDERABLY :-)

Excellent
These scales are just what I wanted. They are sleek and very accurate and easy to use - just step on the scales and you get your weight straightaway either in kgs or stones (easy to set). . My previous scales had various settings but I just wanted something simple. They also come attractively packaged and have a 15 year guarantee so I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Goodbye Salter, a quality brand no longer
Bought these scales on 29 December 2019. They replaced a previous almost identical Salter Weighwatchers set.The previous set started being difficult to switch on (foot tap) then when you stood on the scales the reading would change up and down repeatedly until finally settling on a figure. On occasion the display would just blank out. If I got off and immediately reweighed myself the reading could vary anything up to 7lb (3kg) and rarely did it read the same twice.I was standing on the glass plate in accordance with the Salter instructions, I wasn’t wobbling about, and yes I had tried changing the battery (Duracell). The scales were placed on one flat tile on the bathroom floor, I used the same tile every day and the tile is over concrete not wood so there’s no floorboard flexing. No-one in the house weighs 400lb (180kg) so it hadn’t been overloaded. The glass top was only ever cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, no chemicals, and never over the display itself.I put it down to a damp bathroom and having to put the scales away every day rather than leave them out. I hadn’t kept the receipt but I’m pretty sure they were less than three years old, well within the 15 year warranty.I bought this set because it is basically the same as my previous set just without the Weightwatchers branding. I really like the big easy to read display, Salter advertise them as accurate to 0.2lb (100g), they’re slim so they’re easy to store, and they’re easy to keep clean.I had also assumed that the failure of the previous model was my own fault, Salter being a reliable UK brand with a good reputation for quality and offering a 15 year warranty. Plus my Mum and my Gran always had Salter bathroom scales because they were a reliable brand. So this time, to avoid the damp, I kept the scales in the sitting room, also a solid floor. I still moved them out of the way every day but I was careful, they are glass after all. They worked well and I would have recommended the scales if asked. Then last week exactly the same problems started. I changed the battery; it made no difference. This morning when the scales eventually switched on I weighed myself, couldn’t believe the reading and weighed myself three times in succession. Three different readings varying by 5lb (2.2 kg) between the lowest and highest reading.Yes they are cheap, RRP is £29.99, I only paid £14.99 a year ago and the current Amazon price is only £16:49 but just add up the real cost over 15 years if you have to return them for repair or replace them every other year. Yes I could probably find a contact address and pay the postage to return them to Salter and I might eventually get a repair or replacement or I might get a rejection under some tiny clause in the supposed 15 year warranty. So it’s the bin for this set, tempered glass not being acceptable for our local recycling, and yet more time wasted trawling the internet for a reliable set from a different manufacturer...
