good value for money
very good compact Mini Airband Radio Scanner, good quality earphones and very ease to charge via the usb. It comes with a handy pouch and it lasts long before it needs recharged.

Nice radio for DXing while travelling
Perhaps the most important two aspects for this radio are its' small size and the wide frequency coverage. They make it an excellent tool for on-the-go radio enthusiasts when better kit isn't available. And overall it seems quite sensitive even using the built in (incredibly, even worryingly, thin) telescopic antenna - I've used it in the UK and heard Chinese, Romanian and even east-coast USA shortwave stations.Interestingly though, I haven't managed to get much better reception with external telescopic antennas of greater length, although for shortwave a few metres of wire plugged in to the antenna socket (using a 3.5mm TRS jack plug) does improve reception quite a bit - but I think use with external antennas isn't really a strength for this radio, although that might improve with effort to improve grounding. And on the negative aspects I'd say the main one is that the buttons aren't backlit - that may not seem an issue but they're very small and can have dual functions, so either bring a torch or learn all of the functions by touch if you want to use this in dim light. However, it does allow you to listen to FM, AM, CB, air bands, shortwave and various ham bands, without lugging lots of gear, while travelling around. And I'm quite happy with the sensitivity, audio quality and size for the price, hence my 4*. However, you may like to know that once you long press the power button to turn it off, you then need to long press the lock button too (until the key symbol appears), if you don't want the radio to turn on due to a couple of quick knocks on the power button when in a pocket or bag (and hence some battery level loss). Overall though I'm very happy with it.

Incomprehensible
I was attracted to the tr110 by its compact size and it having very many wavebands. It is a very small radio 10 x 6 x2cm. The complex instruction book is the same size and has very small print. I ended up downloading and printing it out to be able to use it. It feels well enough made. The size of most the characters on the display are also miniscule and would help if a magnifier was to hand.I have been working with this type of radio for over 60 years and and don’t tend to get stumped by their operation. This Retekess radio certainly tests the patience. Some settings require multiple presses of one button and a few of another. How is the user is expected to remember all this.I had already returned one of these as faulty, I couldn’t access usb/lsb on it. I can do that on the replacement, but I have the issue with the medium wave step value – see below.I had tried, several times, taking the instructions in the manual to the letter to get the medium wave step value to change from 10khz increments to 9khz to listen to European stations. Couldn’t get it to do that, it always defaults to 10khz.I’ll also be returning this one.If, like me, you return thru Amazon, you will find it has to be mailed to Amazon Slovenia at the customers expense. Apparently it can only go airmail at £10.75

Small enough to fit in a pocket
Even though the front of the radio looks good, it also looks very cheaply made, it’s quite loud for a tiny radio, the sound is much better with a good pair of earphones, The display looks nice with the orange backlight, would need a magnifying glass to see the display better.I’ve not had much time with this radio to go through all the bands, I think I will have to purchase an external antenna, shame one isn’t included in the box. . I have seen the same radio at a much more higher price, unfortunately for me I think this radio feels like it should be a lot cheaper than the price listed.I would also say be careful with the antenna as it is not very thick, I had to watch a few YouTube videos to figure out how to use it as the instruction manual is equally as small as the radio and hard to read, hopefully I will be able to easily pick up the air band when I go to the airport in a weeks time.Ordered this item on Monday and received the next day, wasn’t expecting it until Friday, nice one Amazon for the early delivery

Compact SSB
Great compact piece of kit, literaly SSB RX in your pocket. I mainly use for HF & love the portability. Handles external loop antenna well with no overloading. For the size the speaker works well & even better with headphones. Long battery life, used for 8 hrs continuous moderate volume & only two bars dropped. Yes fiddly to use at the beginning but once mastered is fine. Deffo value for the money

Cheap feel
Build quality feels awful, better options if you look.Way to expensive should be about 19.99 because of the cheap feel.
