My posture is improving with this simple device!
I was having severe back pain from my poor posture. I also have fibromyalgia so my muscles are really sensitive to painful stimuli and I get severe muscle spasms. I couldn't sleep, the pain was unbearable. My doctor told me the only way to relieve the pain was to improve my posture. I tried really hard to change and have better posture at my desk but I would revert to old habits. I purchased this wonderful device and my world changed. This device is super easy to set up and use. You will need to use your smart phone. It says to use iPhone 5 or newer but this works just fine with my iPhone 4C. The device and the free app you download on your smart phone work together. You set your posture everyday and wear the device. It tracks your posture and gives you a buzz if you are slouching while in the training mode. When I do not want the buzz, because I am in a meeting or doing something where I will be bending over often then I change to tracking mode. No buzzing in tracking but it will send a text if I am slouching. This thing tracks your position. Since it can only sense when you are bent forward, it will track as slouching even it your are bent forward tying your shoes, reaching in the lower cupboards, etc. This has changed my life. I am getting less feed back (buzzing) while working at my desk, I am tucking my tummy more which improves my posture immediately. Best of all after using the device 4 days in a row, the severe pain in my back lessened and I was able to sleep at night. I was also able to reduce the amount of pain meds I was taking. The customer service is great also. I text them a question and someone answered very quickly sending me a link to some videos. They have great videos that help to explain things and they followed up to make sure my questions were answered. The adhesive lasts about a week. They send a little case and charging cord. The battery lasts about 12 hours, which is longer than I wear daily. Place the Go in the little case, plug it in and the next day it is ready to use again. I think if I left it out in the air, the adhesive would not last as long. It does not irritate my skin at all. The adhesive does not hold when I am sweating heavy, like when hiking on a really hot day. The case is very small and easily fits in a pocket or purse. I have been using it for about 14 days now. This device is really wonderful, it does exactly what it says it will do, and I am glad I did not listen to the poor reviews. (I suspect those people do not use with a smart phone, or keep it in the case at night.) Give this a try, it is simple to use but like everything, you must follow the few simple instructions for the best experience.

Very thoughtful and well-made product
**Update after 11 days of use.Everything I said below is still true. Nothing about the quality of the product itself has diminished or deteriorated. However, I'm on Day 11 of training and I have one major complaint about the product's ability (or maybe "limitation" is more accurate) to correct posture. Each day when you put the device on your back, you calibrate it. The device doesn't seem to actually be measuring the curve of your back or the degree to which you are slouching. It appears to be calibrating itself in relation to the ground. It knows when it is at a 90º angle from the ground, meaning that your back is straight. And then as you slouch and your back curves, it is 89º, 88º, or whatever angle from the ground. The problem here is that you can have a straight back and not be parallel to the ground. I assume there's a right way to bend over and a right way to lean forward and have a straight back. However, the device doesn't recognize that and for those of us who want to maintain a straight back even when we're active, the Upright Go is going to buzz you constantly or, if you're on training mode, classify long stretches of time as "slouching" when you may have had your back straight at some angle other than perpendicular to the ground.Conversely, if the angle is over 90º (because say, you're in a chair reclining or driving or leaning back against anything) you can have terrible posture with your back totally curved but the device will not notice. So, if you're working or driving for long periods of time in any type of reclining position, you could be getting all kinds of false positive results. Now you may be reading this and thinking, "So what. Turn it off" or "Don't wear it at those times." And of course that's an option. But I would argue: I bought this thing to help me keep correct posture all the time. It's doing a great job of training me to have a straight back when I'm standing up preparing food or walking or sitting upright and working. But the number of false negatives and false positives during other times of the day are a serious oversight and limit the impact the device can actually have.I'm no scientist, nor programmer so I have no idea what it would take to create a device that actually measures the curve of your back rather than it's own relationship with the ground, but until happens, know that this device's impact is limited and specific in my experience and that a back brace may be unforgiving in the right way 100% of the time.1/20/19Very thoughtful and well-made product.I only share reviews if I have a strong feeling that something is amazing and deserves the praise or is so terrible that others need to be cautioned.I’m happy to say this product falls into the former category. Everything about it is high-quality, from the packaging to the materials included to the app to the impact it’s having on my posture.i’m only on day four of using it so I can’t speak to its battery life over the long term or it’s durability, but it is working far better than expected. It lets you easily jump between activity types you’re doing (sitting, moving around, very actively moving) so that the vibration reminder can be more forgiving the more active you are.You can set it to a training mode where it unforgivingly reminds you that you’re slouching (again!) or just set it to a tracking mode where it doesn’t remind you but allows you to see more naturally how often you slouch during the day. Finally it presents the data to you in a way that’s easy to read and you can go back and see how you’re progressing over the days. But one of the things that makes this product so outstanding is the design and packaging. It reminds me of the golden days of Apple products; when unpacking was a joy because so many wonderful, unexpected things were smartly packed into small box. Aside from the device itself they thought of everything you’d need and provided you with: several adhesives, alcohol prep pads, a little guitar pick for removing the adhesive from the device, a handy little carrying case that fits just perfectly all the materials you need to be on the go, and a charging cable. Instructions were easy to follow. My only feedback (and this is pretty minor) is that it’s challenging to plug the charging cord into the device. Every time I have to use so much force that I think I’m going to break it.I’m excited to see how it helps me over the long term as well as how the product holds up over the long-term.Right now I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. For the past two days I’ve worn it for 10 hours and the battery never died. I charge overnight then start again.
