I purchased this kite for my Grandsons to fly when they came to Florida for a visit in the Spring. They were mostly interested in digging in the sand and playing in the surf. My husband, however, had a great time with it. He said that he had never had a kite that was so easy to launch and it flew up very high with no effort. Other beach goers were impressed with it as it soared above the surf. It is very big with long tails just as pictured and extremely well designed to be an easy flyer. We are going to try to launch it on a slightly windy day at a park in Ohio this spring or summer.

This thing flies so easy. Just toss it up and it's off. It comes with string so you can attach it within a min and you're flying a kite like a pro. Watch how you attach the strings or it'll do what mine did - go out far but not get very high. My fault... I'll retie it next time. Doesn't really look like an octopus when it's flying - looks more like a squid - but I didn't care, I had a blast flying my kite at the beach and got compliments from strangers saying how cool it was lol. Folds up easily to fit back into it's case, takes up about as much space in your travel bag as a large pair of socks. Best fun for the money - don't hesitate to buy this if you're new or buying for a little kid. Easy to fly, looks cool, and doesn't have a ton of pull you over capability. I love my new kite. :)

Really love this kite! Took it with me when I went camping at a windy beach. I love that when it's in the bag it's small and easy to carry around but when you open it to use the size is nice and large! Color of the purple one is awesome and the tentacles are really long and cool looking while in the air. My friends and I really enjoyed using it and the kids playing on the beach also complimented it to me as they walked by with their families. Very easy to use and worked perfectly with good quality. I had no issues getting this kite to fly, it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Flies really well and very easy to use. I like that it floats to the ground gently instead of crashing like a framed kite. The only issue is that the strings are are just tied through holes in the fabric without reinforcement like metal grommets so if it's too windy it will probably rip. Also, there were no set up instructions but it was mostly self explanatory.

It’s cool but only a low flyer

I picked this up wanting to take my 4 year old daughter to the beach for her first kite experience. I should have waited until we actually went to the beach prior to showing her as she asked everyday to go until we could actually have went. :) This kite was very easy to assemble and I was pleased with the length of string given as opposed to previous kites which give a much smaller roll. She LOVED this thing and we played with it for hours prior to having to go. The colors were her favorite and glowed as she watched the streamers glide through the sky. You will not be disappointed with this.

This 58 year old woman is having so much fun with this kite. It's really nice , during these difficult times, to get outside, breathe some mask free fresh air and act like a child, very covid friendly. When it's up in the air it's so beautiful and the long tentacles waving in the Wind. lots of compliments! for a $13 you Beat It. Enjoy!However I was not thrilled that the driver left it out in the open by our mailboxes, then said they left it in the mail room. A room is usually enclosed. Very disappointed in delivery.

Easy to travel with. No flimsy poles to mess with making it easy to assemble. Easiest kite I've ever flew. Catches the breeze and glides in the sky like Yamaguchi on ice!
