Great price. Good shade.
We used this at the beach it was perfect for our needs. We got the 11 x 11 tent and there was plenty of room and shade under it for our family of 4. We ended up only using two poles to prop the front of the tent up and it was windy enough that the back was propped up. It was super easy to set up. You just need to make sure you arrange the sand bags at the correct angles and fill as much sand in the arm bags as you can. I liked this because it was super compact, easy to carry, and was a quick set up and take down that my kids could help with.

Goes up easily
We were worried from reading some of the reviews on this, but this goes up super easy. Never had one bit of trouble with it. Just get on YouTube and watch some videos. its easy. Fill the built in bags with sand until you think they are full, then add some more. This canopy is SO much better than an easy up tent. It weighs 5 lbs, not 40 and can easily be toted to the beach without you having a heart attack. Will never go back to the old style canopies again.

Heavy, poor quality materials-do not by this one
I mistakenly thought this canopy was the same one I had purchased before as a gift that received glowing reviews. The picture is identical to the first one and I know you can usually find the same item from different manufacturers on amazon-so when this one arrived in my feed and was on a "sale" so I thought I scored! I bought this for our once-in-a-lifetime family vacation to Hawaii to celebrate my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary. This would allow those who could not handle the sun for an extended period to all be together and we would not have to worry about renting something something else. When we packed I was surprised by the weight and it caused us to have to bring another suitcase-felt like a small price to pay for this amazing trip at that time. We were shocked at what we actually bought. The stakes to hold this down were so small and cheap that no matter how deep we buried them they slid out of the sand like a hot knife in butter. The canopy itself was not the lightweight parachute material but a heavy and super stretchy polyester-like fabric. Stretchy & heavy being the issue-as soon as you set this up the weight of the fabric caused it to stretch and then sag in the center with in minutes-it was a nightmare of constant reconfiguring which was of no use since the stakes did not stay in the ground. Eventually, we found some trees to tie this to but the sagging was a huge issue. This was very expensive mistake on my part-do your research-make sure you are getting the lightweight fabric with substantial stakes. We did end up renting umbrellas for my in-laws and toddlers which we reasonable and easy to find if you are heading on a similar vacation:).

Windy Conditions = 4 Person Jobkl
This was a pain to set up on a blustery day and I am glad we had 4 adults, two of whom are senior citizens! 👋🏻 Fill the sand bags as full as possible, put the bag in the hole left from digging to fill the sandbag and drive your stake into the wet sand behind the sandbag in the hole. Better grip on the stake and the bag is less likely to slide under windy conditions. The other things that helped under windy conditions were the imaginary wind ropes that did not come with the four extra stakes. Had he had the rope to go with those stake, we would not have had to constantly readjust the polls and sandbag locations to compensate for the wind direction changes. So, a word to the wise, check the content of your package, against the parts list, BEFORE you go on an RV vacation, to visit your son and daughter-in-law, at a beach on the Atlantic coast, 1,100 miles from home. However, the absence of the wind rope notwithstanding, the canopy did not collapse from the wind and, we were very pleasantly surprised at how quickly we broke it down and packed it up. 2 people, less that 4 minutes.I’m rating this a 4 due to the absence of the wind rope. I wavered on whether to send it back for a new one with all the parts or, buy tent-rope at Dick’s. I chose, Dick’s; I would have to take a ride to drop off the tent for return so, why not just go out and pick out the rope I wanted. Besides, with my luck, the new canopy could potentially have the wind rope, but no associated stakes! 😱

Great tent, easy to setup, works well !
We use it frequently since we live close to the beach in South Florida. It works best if you fill each bag with sand, set the tent and the end make a hole in the sand, put each bag with sand in its respective hole, and cover them with the sand you extracted to make the hole. In days with some breeze, your tent wont fly somewhere. Worth the money. I will buy it again if available

Impossible to set up
I have never once been able to get this thing to stand up. Even with 4 people working together, it just collapses every time.

A pain to put up
I ended up buying this sunshade because of the convenient size it packs down. It takes some practice to put up and needs adjusting once the poles are in place. I don't see how someone could put it up on their own but it took me about 10 min with another person. Aside from the annoying setup, it did the job of blocking us from the sun. Bonus points because when the wind scooped up a bunch of other EZ Ups at the beach our sunshade stayed in place.
