Realistic leaf veins
I purchased these silicone leaf veiners for use in cake decorating. I have found this veiner to be useful for creating any kind of leaf using gumpaste. I have used this mold for rose leaves and peony leaves. The impression gives a perfect appearance of leaf veins. The gumpaste is rolled out and cut with a leaf cutter, then pressed into the mold. The gumpaste is removed easily from the mold and can be dried in a natural shape. Petal dust can be used to highlight or shade the color of the gumpaste for realistic tones. I would buy this again and I would recommend to anyone using gumpaste or fondant for cake decorating. Can also be used in ceramic or clay arts.
