These solar light jars are so cool. We live in a semi-wooded area so we placed them through out the yard. They get sun in the day and at night they light up. Love the quality and size. The light provided looks like fireflies in the yard. I have purchased 2 sets and have referred many of my friends to the site to purchase them for their yard. I hope these last a long time as they are a joy to see at night.

SO....I ordered the lights last December for use on a camping trip this June/July. I read the directions (not that hard...remove plastic film, remove plastic tab for battery) charged one light, gathered my jar and waited for the sun to do its magic. I brought the light in, marveled at the twinkling and went to attach the lid to the jar. Much to my dismay, every time I turned the light over and *sigh* lights out. Sad. So I emailed the seller. He IMMEDIATELY answered my email offering to make it right. Asked me to charge all the lights I had purchased to determine how many were defective. I had bought two boxes of 6, so I charged all 12 lights. Brought them in to attach to jars, laid them on the kitchen table lid side down. All the lights were lit up. As soon as I turned them over, lights out. HUGE sad face. Then I noticed that the lights worked when I covered the sensors. So I turned off the kitchen lights and voilà lights on! So happy, beautiful product and thank you to the seller for being willing to replace all the lights. Hint for the rest, before you say they don't work. Make sure the room is dark. :)

It works just like the picture, the color is perfect and it comes automatically at night. Rainproof, weather proof I love it. One issue is that when the battery eventually runs out after maybe months or a year, and replace it with rechargeable batteries, it only works for one day then does again. Overall it’s a good value for money, but doesn’t work forever. I might buy another set.

I was looking for bright solar lights for the balcony. After reading quite a few reviews I decided to give these a try. I am so glad I did. They came well packaged and none was broken. I made sure I took the tab to the battery off and turned the switch to on. They did not have a film over the solar top. They lit up right away and stayed lit all night long! The next evening though they were not as bright and did not stay lit as long, BUT I believe this is due to the fact that the weather was not good and it was very cloudy and over cast. Seems like it has been that way since I received them. Overall I am very happy with the quality and how bright they are. Besides my little solar lanterns they are the best I have purchased so far.

I received the lights about a week ago. The weather has been rainy all week. No water in the jars! First day I set them outside 11:30 a.m. they came on at dusk as their supposed to. Question would be “will they stay on all night?” Nice! On all night and turned off at dawn. 10 hours. So far flawless and I’m a happy man. I would recommend to others. The light is suttle but bright. Not that ugly white/blue you see from some types of LED lights.In some of the pictures others have posted I saw the lids rusted. I applied a light coat of “EZOX”. A rust preventative. Carefully wiped it on the lids only. I’ll see if that works.

These lights work great, charging during the day and staying bright all night until they turn off at dawn. Liked these so much ordered another set as well. I have 2 on a table in the shade all day and found these will stay lit for 6 hours instead. They throw off plenty of light in the garden and wife approves. Out of 2 packs only 1 had an issue turning on at first, the switch had to be fiddled with (on off on) they they lit. Since then they all work 100% and have a long run time.

I like these very much....when they work. They look great and give off just enough light to add a certain charm to your walkway. But unfortunately, out of the 12 that I ordered, 5 of them are already not working. That's after only two weeks. We have had a couple pretty good downpours in that time, but I did everything exactly as I was supposed to, weighted down my jars with some stones in the bottom and they haven't moved a bit, installed the lights, made sure the lids were tight, even checked the next day to make sure lids were very snug and they were. But here we are after only a couple weeks of being used and I have 4 that have not lit up in 3-4 days now, and one that randomly comes on here and there. I have every single one placed where right now they get an absolute minimum of 11 hours of sunlight per day. I am not able to send these back as I saw so many good reviews so I threw my packaging out. Guess I shouldn't of done that. Just hope the 7 that are still working keep going for awhile...they are sharp lights when working!

I put them inside my planter and they look beautiful!
