It plays multi-region discs without any messing around.
Ordered this as my old Pacific DVD player from Asda had decided not to function properly anymore. Also the Pacific only had a scart connection so after reading the revues I decided to purchase this one. On first appearance out of the box it seemed a bit small but not a problem as it fits in with my other tv/hi-fi equipment quite well. It's virtually a plug and play. Set up to play in minutes. Loads of menus to play around with when you get the time but it's pretty good straight out of the box. Remote is easy to use, pretty basic layout design. Draw is a bit noisy but nothing to get over-excited about. Now to the nitty gritty. Is it multi-region. Yes is the answer. I have loads of DVDs from down the years from different regions and so far I've not come across any that will not play. I've tried regions 0, 1, 2 and 6. Quality of the picture is superb although it's always going to be dependent on the quality of the disc being playing. Put the disc in the tray and off you go. No messing around with codes. I haven't tried the USB port yet so can't comment on that. Only minor flaw is the volume on the DVD player itself. Scaled from 0-20 but on ma I would say it's overly loud. Of course you can make up for this with your TV volume or a soundbar. All in all, an excellent piece of kit and a bargain at the price.

Worth the Price.
I bought this to replace a Denver 1244 which is showing its age, primarily to show ntsc dvd's. The remote has not changed much, to small for big fingers. You get used to it or buy an All for One . It is easy to set up once you get the hang of it. Complaints about not playing some dvd's I found as with my previous one to be Blue Ray dvd's It says " No Disc "" Fair enough.". The rest play without any problems. The picture and sound are Good. It is a Basic Player and well worth the Price and made in Denmark.

Overall good dvd player
Bad points of Denver DVD player the box that it comes in fell apart as I was taking the player out could be a problem if I had to return it remote is more of a cheap kind the wrapping paper that Amazon used had a bad smell to it when you use the zoom option the caption stays on the screen this is the first DVD player that does this that I bought.Good points does what it says on the box plays all dvds all regions this player does not have a buzzing sound when turned on this is a full size dvd player the compact might have this problem better than Panasonic player which picks and chooses if it wants to play region 2 forget the other regions.

Good replacement, but broke after 18 months
My old DVD player was giving problems. Replaced it with this little item. I don't have blu-ray discs so this was an excellent and economical replacement.New Review:This lasted about 18 months. Today there was a sharp crack, like an electric discharge and the unit stopped. I opened it up to see what was wrong and the cap of one component was rattling around inside. Where the rest of the component has gone I don't know. But after only 18 months? I won't get another of this brand.
