For over 20 years I've been fine with using cheap hair dryers as long as it did its job. But I came across this listing and saw the oscillator, and didn't think twice about the price - I had to get it. I've tried it a handful of times and it has been great. Now that I'm older, my wrist gets more fatigued with moving the hair dryer back and forth, but this hair dryer with the oscillating attachment solves that problem. I love it, and I hope it's durable but I won't hesitate buying this again. I also love that the cord isn't super long like my previous hair dryers. The only slight thing it can improve on is heat level. At the high setting it's not that hot but I guess that's better for my hair - just will take an extra few minutes to dry though. Also the oscillator is thin plastic and gets hot real fast so be careful not to touch the tip or drop it as it looks like it'll break easy.

The hair dryer is great. I was all about to give it a 5 star review.But then I tried to register the product for warranty. It asks for a serial number (mandatory field), takes you to a page to find serial numbers but the product wasn't listed. I tried the number on the box and it says duplicate registration. I tried the number on the hairdryer, and again duplicate registration. Almost suspected this product was used, marketed as new.Then I finally found a 2021 response by panasonic to a different model on amazon saying this product does not have a serial number. I wish panasonic could've just put that on their site like they do for their irons. I had to login 6 times (page expired when i took a picture of my proof of purchase - get this ready ahead of time, bugged out when i tried to register it one time, serial no. issues...)

Unless a product truly touches my heart, I’m too lazy to spend time writing a review for it. My hair tends to be dry and frizzy. I’ve tried the popular hair dryers from T3 and Dyson, which are great for styling and provide good results, but they can be too damaging to the hair. I’ve always wanted to find a hair dryer that combines those advantages without harming my hair. With a mindset of giving it a try, I purchased this Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer, and I was amazed by the results. It dries hair faster than the other two brands, and after use, my hair feels like it has shifted from dry to normal. The Nanoe technology truly provides hydration, and its oscillating nozzle design is incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this product!

Don't settle for an ordinary hair dryer. You'll see the difference!I have long, fine, thick hair, and used to love my hair.I had a Panasonic negative ion hair dryer that lasted over ten years, then it sadly died.I didn't want to spend too much on a new one, so I got an ordinary Conair one. It was awful.That one died after a little over a year, so I got an infrared Revlon dryer. My hair was still awful. My straight hair became wavy and dry, and it felt like straw!I thought of a few possibilities...After having children I started showering at night, so maybe it was because if that. Or maybe stress or my age.I tried so many shampoos and conditioners. Nothing made a difference, and I hated wasting money on stuff that wasn't even helping, so I gave up. But it got depressing when I'd look in the mirror and didn't see that healthy, shiny hair I once had.Then I thought it could be because of my hair dryer!I didn't want to buy another one until mine died, so I waited... Then a year and a half later it finally did! I was so happy and knew I had to get another Panasonic!I didn't have a Nanoe one before, but it's supposed to be better than negative ion, so I chose this, and got the compact one, because the bigger one was out of our budget. ($59 vs $84)I saw a difference after my first use! My hair didn't tangle and really did dry faster, and I was excited to see how my hair would be in the morning! It was so soft and I finally have my healthy hair back! I'm still using ordinary shampoo and conditioner, so it was all because of the dryer!I'm happy I chose this one over the bigger one, because it fits in my hand well and it's light weight. It's really quiet too, which is a plus when you have kids sleeping down the hall!I use it on my daughters too, and they have very long hair since I've never cut it. I can dry both of them in 3 minutes!As some people have mentioned, it did have a strange smell the first time I used it, but it was just that one time.I hope this one lasts a long time, but when its time comes, there's no way I'll get anything other than a Panasonic! It feels so nice to touch my soft hair with no tangles!Update 9/2/2021:It has been over 2 years since I got this, so it's time for an update!It still works as good as new and I love this hair dryer!!Time for another update! 5/14/2023:I still love this hair dryer! My daughters and I use it every single day and have had absolutely no issues with it. I'm so glad I got Panasonic.Another awesome thing is that I've never had to clean it. Other dryers get dust and lint stuck on the back behind the fan, but for some reason this dryer is always clean!
