So much better than china pencils!
I work in medical research, and many forms need Protected Health Information redacted in order to protect our participants' confidentiality. China pens are messy--these redacting markers are much better. I've gotten multiple sets and every marker has worked very well.

Pricey but worth it
Purchased this item for work. Needed marking pens with extra potential to redact highly sensitive, confidential information. These did the trick. Very pricey but worth it.

When privacy is important
I bought these for work and they do an amazing job at blocking out information you do not want seen by anyone but you. I have tried the confidential in roller stamps, 3 of the 7 roller stamps I have tried did do so bad but I really wanted something to solidly block the information. This works great. I have not seen any fading.

Costs too much but works well enough with some work
I had some of these once before. I can't find where I got them from, but they are the same exact pens. I wish I could find out how much I paid, because I think $3.66 a pen is a bit too pricey. I reordered them because they are better than anything else out there except a shredder. They cover well enough but if you hold the paper up to bright light, most times you are still going to see it. I finally quit doing that because it takes too much time. So if it is something that is really important I cover then I turn the paper over and do the back too. That works perfect but you use double the ink. Be careful pressing down to get the ink to flow because sometimes it comes out too much and is another waste.

Mostly reliable
I redact police reports with these. I have to black over a word 3x for secure coverage, but it works. Like any paint pen, you have to shake it during use and it can dry out; but you can just press the tip and wait for more ink. Make sure to quickly push down when pumping ink into the tip. A slow press can cause the ink to blot out. I'd say 80% of the time I get good use out of the pen, but once in a while I get a bad one. Once in a while the tips will fray and not make clean lines, so I try to clean them up with a tissue. I've been using these about a year and they're mostly reliable.
