This CD Player was purchased for a small bookshelf audio system.The item arrived on time and was well packaged. Build quality is in line with the price. The provided instructions were easy to understand. The button controls work as described.One of the CD player headphone outputs is connected to the line/aux input of the bookshelf system amplifier. With no CD playing there is no hiss or noise from the bookshelf speakers with the amp at full volume. As noted in other reviews, the level of this output is lower than a standard aux/line out signal. However, the output is clean enough for the amp to push plenty of volume to the bookshelf speakers without noise or distortion.As a bookshelf CD player, the anti skip and EQ functions are turned off. All tone control is done by the bookshelf amp.This CD player meets all of my needs at a very reasonable price.

I’ve been looking for one of these for quite some time online, including Amazon and I did not want one that looked like a disco and I wanted one that had Bluetooth and this one has just the features I want. It’s very good looking. It has a long battery life and it plays great through my Bose Bluetooth speaker, I’m very happy with my purchase. However, if you’re looking for this to be a standalone, the music quality is not that great but going through a blue speaker. It is nice in fact awesome.

This device has a nice design, and is very easy to operate, but it has a FATAL FLAW: It does not produce enough volume over Bluetooth, in earbuds, or over a line level connection. Even cranked all the way up, your Bluetooth speakers will need to be at their maximum volume and it still may not be enough.The listing said this was a "frequently returned item" and I chose to ignore that. Now I know why!

This is a great little CD player. I only took off 1 star because of the charging - the manual states that the light will be red during charging and then blue once fully charged - it does not change color, just stays red even once it's fully charged - I had it plugged in for over 4 hours. So, you have no way of knowing it's done unless you touch the adapter plug to see if it's still warm. Big deal? No...but an important detail that was overlooked.The battery is good-I use this thing every day, sometimes for hours & hours, and I have consistently gotten about 6-8 hours of play out of each full charge. The battery does not lose it's ability to hold a charge or give less play time after months/years of charging. I have had it since June 2020 and I still get the same output I did on day 1. It also does not require more time to reach a full charge - takes 2-3 hours to fully charge from when the "low batt" symbol flashes to being fully charged. That tells me the battery hasn't worn out. I do wish it was removeable/replacable, as rechargables can wear out eventually, but other than that no complaints.One great thing about this is that it has a reset hole where you can stick a pen tip of needle and push to reset the device. I had this player for years and every so often it would just freeze on me - the sreen would just show the track & time frozen, the on/off did not respond, etc...I had to unscrew the bottom and interrupt the circuit/nodes of the battery otherwise it would've been unusable. This happened 4 times in 2 years. I was very happy to see that they have now included a "reset' right next to the battery charge indicator.Another great improvement from the older version is that the volume allows for higher settings. The previous version only went so far, and certain older discs I always felt were just not loud enough even on the highest setting. This is great, the highest setting will blow out your eardrums, so you definitely have a lot of options regarding volume.It comes with an AUX cable that plugs into the headphone jack so the other end can plug into your vehicle's AUX hole. This way you can use it to listen to CDs in your vehicle if it's not equipped with an internal player. Mine has a 1-disc player but my mom, for example, had no CD player in her Volkswagen. This player worked perfectly for her - literally plug & play.Aesthetically it's a beautifully done player. The "wood" design is like a reddish-brown cherrywood type look, and the top/cover is slightly transparent very nice design.I like that there are no bells & whistles - just a nice simple device that plays music CD's. It can play regular CDs, CD-R/R-W, as well as MP3. It has a few sound modes/equalizer - Pop, Jazz, Rock, and Classic. I find the Classic & the Rock settings are the best - provides very clear, robust sound and allows you to really appreciate the music - I listen to everything from Mozart to Guns N'Roses, and all sound excellent.I have not used the earbuds they provided, i use my own wired stereo headphones.Device has 2 headphone jacks (standard 3.5mm) which is great in case one wears out.For the price & the aesthetics, combined with functionality & ease of use, I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a simple player to play their physical music CDs. I don't like digital music I always preferred to have a physical copy of my things IN HAND. This player is worth it & I think it's a very fair price for what you get. The price hasn't changed since I first got it in 2020. If you need one, go for it.

I like this cd player, but it doesn’t play as loud as I would have liked. It is great for someone who doesn’t like loud music. For mine to sound as loud as I wanted it to, I hooked it up to my surround system. Works and sounds awesome!

This is a good cd player. I purchased it because it has its own speaker! And it does. But, if you really want to hear the music, use the bluetooth option to connect it to an external bluetooth speaker. It does play well, and can take a fairly decent bump without skipping. I did get the hard case, but it isn't 100% necessary, but i think the top would easily scratch. I like it, and would probably buy it again. I'd just make sure I had a good external speaker.

I love my Android Auto. However it does not come with a CD player. This units Bluetooth works well with my Android Auto. I can now easily play any of my favorite CD's in the car.

This CD player sounds great. It is easy to operate and has larger control buttons than most portable CD players I looked at. It connected to my Bluetooth headphones easily.
