This thing stinks. Bought strike anywhere matches so I could use it, and they just don’t work well. I’ll break 5-6 before I get 1 to spark on it, I have better luck sparking them with objects around my apartment!

Heavy yet small. So smooth and well crafted.A unique little piece of art!

Solid. Heavy. However the knurling is not as deep as I’d hoped. It takes a couple of strikes to light a match. There is a “grain” to the knurled surface and you have to strike against it. A bit of a learning curve.

Using strike-anywhere matches, perhaps one in three matches ignites. The texture seems too-lightly knurled. Heavy, substantial item, but fails at its primary purpose.

Disappointing item. We used 6 different match brands 3 variations on length and none lit using the item. Item marks very easily with failed strike, so if you do purchase based on the description please be aware it’s neither decorative nor functional.

This little guy is SOLID. If you have great aim you could probably take down an intruder.Looks perfect on my coffee table

Looks and feels great, however does not work with strike anywhere matches. Two of us tried and used multiple match types.

Need matches to work on this. Normal ones won't work. looks great though.
