MONTHS of use and abuse.
After months of use and abuse (closer to a year), my squad and I have finally managed to see noticeable damage to the vulcanized head. Once I removed the stock 25 lb plate (necessary to install the 35 lb plate), this thing has proven a valuable supplementary workout tool. Great for fun and games.

Does not work
The lock nuts provided do not fit into the pre cut holes on the weights. The bolts do not stick out far enough from the weight to put on the nuts. This does not work. I cannot use these on my Odin hammer

What an ordeal
I ordered these add on plates to enhance my Odin Sledgehammer. When the product arrived, I immediately went out to my garage to secure them to my sledgehammer. It took all of about two minutes to realize that the bolts included with my weights were not long enough to secure them to my hammer. They fell about an inch short. I reached out to Tribe WOD and was advised that they did not have the necessary bolts in stock, so they directed me to a local hardware store. I was told that I would be reimbursed for the cost of the bolts. I did as instructed and could not locate an exact match for the bolts included with the weights. I grabbed the closest thing I could find and went home hoping that they would work. Thankfully, I made it work and Tribe WOD was quick to reimburse me.I now love my Odin Sledgehammer, but can't believe that Tribe WOD is still selling a product that doesn't come with the proper hardware. I learned through my ordeal, that this was a known problem. I believe that Tribe WOD should make these add on plates "temporarily unavailable" until the problem is fully resolved. Tribe WOD if your listening, please iron out the wrinkles and perfect this product...the potential is there!! I also strongly suggest that you explore making heavier add on plates. If I could get my hammer to be heavier than 35 lbs., it would be a 10 star product.

Does the job with a slight modification.
Update: I found a good and quick solution. I took a file and rounded the nut enough that I could tap it into the plate upside down. The bolt will be able to thread into the nut and the tight fit keeps the nut from turning during tightening.Pro: adds weightCons: 1: hardware is useless. Too short. Being sold with this known issue. Offers reimbursement instead of resolving issue. 2: plates stick out approx. a half inch on each side, add the nuts after mod, 1.14+" on each side. Could be a hazard when using and takes away from the impressiveness. These should be pulled until the hardware issue is resolved or plates machined to allow the nut to drop down the hole to the bolt.

Beastial mod, fixed screw issue
Makes the hammer much more serious. The original odin in my opinion is light, I could swing it 250 times. This one makes it feel godly. You need to develop your shoulders and back to even swing this a bit with the 35 lb mod. I read reviews that the screws were too short but this issue has been fixed

What’s The Point?
I bought these over 1 year ago. I’ve checked both websites (kbk, tribewod) every day for over a year. They haven’t made any new Odin sledgehammers in that timeframe. I’m about to throw them away cause it’s a waste of material and space. Make new sledgehammers for your customers please. Such a waste of time!!!!

Good fit, improper attachment hardware
The allen head cap bolts were too short, and the included nuts wouldn’t fit into the holes cast into the weights. There’s really no excuse for this after manufacturing the weights for this length of time. Unsatisfactory quality control, and Tribe WOD told me to go and get the correct bolts, and they’d refund me the money for them. That’s all great, but I expected to be able to use the weights immediately. Plus, longer bolts will not solve the problem, as they are 3/4” nuts, and the nuts will not fit the holes in the weights.I solved the problem by using smaller diameter bolts which use 11/16 nuts. These will fit into the holes.I believe that Tribe is still sending out the weights with the wrong bolts.Bad design, and worse quality control.

Bolts Still Not Long Enough
Unfortunately, all the other reviewers are correct and the bolts provided are too short to affix the weights. As of November 2022, Tribe is still waiting on replacement bolts from the manufacturer and will reimburse you for purchasing your own bolts at a hardware store. This should have been rectified by this point. The sledgehammer itself is worth it for your workouts, but I would wait on purchasing the extra weights until Tribe confirms it has the correct size attachment bolts. Disappointing to say the least.
