Yes, it is full tang fixed blade knife.

Q: How well does this knife "stay/lock into" tge sheath, i want to scout carry this knife?

It locks very well , I carry it on my hip riding four wheeler and in the woods it’s never come unlocked . It’s a very nice knife in my opinion.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, This knife comes with a hollow grind blade and a flat G10 handle. There is not a flat grind blade version.
