A friend of mine introduced these to me. Her family would buy them at the WA state fair. It's a really a brilliant design and works great. Unlike a clip they run the whole width of the bag, so the whole bag seals up if you're trying to keep things fresh and contained. No run away peanuts. They are really easy to use by simply making a clean fold and smoothly threading on the middle probe of the stick. Plus you can securely grab one or multiple bags with one hand by the casing of the sticks because they are nicely textured to grab and they won't slide off the bag like a clip might. Great for camping, closing up your bag of trail mix on a hike, that giant bag of popcorn you managed to save for later, bags of produce or bags that don't have zipper locks or zipper locks that don't work.They seem to be pretty strong for normal use. I wouldn't try to lift a 20 pound bag from the end of the stick, but that should be common sense. The longer sticks are long (pink one), so you'll want a good spot in the drawer long enough to store, but they are slender to put on the side on the side of the silverware. If your bag is a tad wide for the stick and it's important to seal the whole bag, you can fold the side at an angle before folding over top down to make it more narrow. Start threading the stick on the end with the double fold to make it easier. It makes a tight seal so keeping the folds wrinkle free ensure it slides on easily.

These are great. Versatile, super easy to use, not bulky or prone to break. Can be used in the refrigerator, freezer and pantry. Probably there are uses outside the kitchen I just haven't thought of. Just fold over the packaging and slide on the GripStic. Keeps food from getting stale. They don't fall off or break. And they take up very little space, in the drawer, or on your package. I plan to buy more of these next time they are on sale, probably medium sized, though this multi sized set is a good first purchase.

I believe this is the best way to repeatedly close your food items before going to the next level of using an electronic tool to actually reseal the package with heat. The individual sticks work very well and are easy to use. My package ripped at the bottom with the tape that was closing it, so I use the smallest one to keep it closed. I wish I would have known about these long ago

These sticks are like magic, after you open chips or cookies or whatever comes in a bag and yo want to reseal it theses are great. No more waste on half bags of treats or such these sticke work like magic. So easy to use and lots of sizes do yourself a favor and try them, you won't regret it!!

I love these! Took me a minute to figure out how to use them, but once you get the knack, it’s easy.My cereal and snacks stay fresh longer with these gripsticks! Even my husband can put them on the bags properly! I bought the assorted size set. I probably use the green ones the most for the cereal and chip bags.Totally100% worth the price. I even bought sets for family.

It takes a little maneuvering, but they do work. I went by the sizes that were listed and ordered the extra large, but I could have gone with the large. I would suggest measuring what they are needed for. As far as keeping the chips, etc., fresh, it hasn't been that long so I wouldn't know that, but it does cut down the size of storing those extra big chip bags from the big box stores because instead of rolling the bag and clipping it, you could cut the bag and use these instead.

These are the best closures for chips, crackers, nuts, etc. My granddaughter had been living with me. The day after she moved out she told me, I need some of those sticks for my chips. LOL. I have been using them for 5 years.

We already owned a few of these and had been wanting more for some time. It's just a reality that a lot of the supposedly self-sealable bags either don't or have the seals fail after not very many open/close cycles. This product enables you to close them reliably while keeping the bag airtight.
