Buy these!
This is a GREAT product. We have 7 cameras installed on our soffits and 1 in the garage. The picture is clear and playback is easy. Night vision is amazing. I did not pay any subscription fee to see video playback because I have it connected to wifi. The app in ny phone is user friendly. You will not regret this camera set. We had a pretty cold Wisconsin winter and they all survived and consistently worked.

Fantastic Camera System with Outstanding Customer Service!
I recently purchased this camera system from Amazon, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience! The setup was incredibly straightforward, and the picture quality is excellent, both during the day and at night. The resolution is crystal clear, and the wide field of view captures everything I need to keep my home secure. The app integration is smooth, making it easy to monitor footage remotely, and the notifications are prompt and reliable. What really sets this product apart, aside from the performance, is the exceptional customer service. I had a few technical questions during setup, and the support team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They patiently guided me through the process, making sure everything worked perfectly. It’s rare to find a company that offers such top-notch service along with a great product. If you're in the market for a reliable, high-quality camera system with amazing customer support, I highly recommend this one!

Crystal Clear Video
Camera are very clear both in the day and at night with the infrared. The NVR system is somewhat user friendly. You have to have just basic knowledge of a camera system. It’s easy to figure it out though just by trial and error. Each camera has its own settings and they are 2-way audio. It’s much better for to to not have to have a monitoring company like ADT when I can pay for my own system like this one and save money. For extra security I also added a ring dorbell camera to the front and back door. This system has a ton of local storage on it, but if you want unlimited cloud storage you’ll have to pay monthly for it. It’s $4 per month, but it’s per camera. So that’s probably the only con I can give. But still $32 bucks a month if I wanted unlimited storage for all camera is still better than what ADT would charge. Plus once again I can pick and chose what cameras have the cloud storage, buying cloud storage for each camera is optional.Overall 5 star camera system. Oh yeah, you can see the camera on their App on your phone as well. Definitely 5stars.

Very easy setup
This system was very easy to set up and everything seems to be functioning as it should. I pre-tested the cameras before installing them. One was glitchy and had to be disconnected several times before it would work. So far it is behaving. Another camera has a strong blueish tint. They all seem to exhibit a slight bluish/magenta tint but this one is the worst. The NVR has a very noisy hard drive. I haven't heard this much clicking from an hd since the old mfm/rll days. So far it is working OK but I'm keeping an eye on it. The cameras seem to be pretty sharp but I don't know that I'd call them 4k quality. The field of view is narrower than my previous system which caused me to have to reposition a few of them. The EseeCloud Windows app works OK for my purposes as do the Android and iOS apps. Overall I am happy so far with this system for the price. The video quality is good, night vision is good and everything seems to be working as it should. I'll update if anything changes.

Unreliable. Read on.
Let me stress the word unreliable here for a min. The mobile app does not connect to this cameras on any of my Apple devices, tested with 1 iPad and 2 iPhones. The desktop app connects to the cameras on 2 out of 4 desktops in the house. The NVR which is connected to a 45 inch TV via HDMI cable in my garage used to work with this unit out of the box and then one day randomly stopped, showing that all cameras are offline, but my 2 desktops that are able to connect to the camera feeds still show the camera feeds and I can connect and disconnect normally. This product looks good on paper and if it would work consistently it would be worth the price tag. However, knowing what I know now, I would never purchase this - I would rather pay x3 the price and get a brand name unit. I'm regretting my purchase very much, one of the worst purchases this year. So out of 8 devices in my house, it works only on 2 of them. I have a dedicated home server where I needed it to run but I'm not able to get it to run on there so this system's usefulness is almost at 0.Now lets assume this system works, lets talk about the pros and cons.PROS:1. Decent quality footage, not real 4k obviously, you get 8 cameras at 500 bucks don't expect to zoom in and see every detail. Its better then all the HD systems though. You should be able to make out license plates if the vehicle is close enough but it wont be crystal clear.2. Night vision is actually really good. It blew me away how good the night vision was. The picture is as good as during the day light hours3. Long cablesCONS:1. All cameras have default username/passwords which do not update when you set the system up for the first time through NVR. You can to connect to individual camera and update them, otherwise people can access your cameras with default credentials when you think you secured them by just creating user in your NVR, which you still need to do to secure the NVR it self. Major security con.2. Can't play anything back using desktop apps, never finds footage. When NVR connection worked via HDMI cable, I was able to play it back and it could show events where detection happen so was easy to find footage to playback. Now that NVR no longer works via HDMI, I can't play anything back. Not sure if I got a lemon but what I got is garbage so 1 star.
