Finally a powerful electric power washer!
My SunJoe crap out on me, decided to buy some more serious brand. This Generac 8888 works great. Instantly I saw the difference in power. I like the longer power pressure hose, great maneuverability and it is a lot more quiet then SunJoe.Will store it in bsmnt over the winter.

Instant-on powerful easy-to-maneuver and fairly quiet; comes almost fully assembled
The Generac 8888 2,700 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer is instant-on, powerful, and relatively quiet. It is also easy-to-maneuver not only because its wheels are large but because the rest for the spray-wand supports it from below and there's also a piece that sits above the wand that prevents it from falling out of the rest. Other pressure washers I've tried have only a U-shaped rest so that their wands easily slip out of the rest when the unit is moved. Assembly took about 2 minutes. Some pressure washers come mostly unassembled. The Generac was nearly fully assembled.I'm pleased so far with the Generac 8888. The unit shipped with 4 quick-connect nozzles. I've been using only the high-pressure yellow one and it has been doing the job nicely. Before I turn the unit on, I let the water run through the wand for a couple of minutes to make sure there's no air in the system. No problems encountered while using the unit heavily for three days. I will update the review if anything negative occurs. The unit is plugged directly into an outlet, no extension cord. If you need an extension, get a heavy duty one so there's no sag in voltage. Better yet, spend the money instead on a long upgraded hose. The only thing I don't much like about the Generac 8888 is the hose, which is basic and not very flexible.Generac product literature states that the optimum mains pressure is 60PSI and that the minimum mains pressure is 45PSI, but I haven't been able to find out what the maximum allowed mains pressure is before a pressure regulator is required. Our mains pressure is 80PSI, so I've bought a regulator. Some manufacturers state that incoming pressure above 75PSI can blow out the seals on their units. When I was trying to find out if 80PSI would be a problem, I wasted around 20 minutes using the Generac online chat portal. The chat portal was manned by someone who was totally clueless about pressure washers. She insisted the pressure washer was 30GPM (that's right, thirty) and she didn't understand the difference between incoming mains pressure and the pressure created by the unit. Maybe manufacturers should consider giving their support personnel some training? When she finally gave me the tech support phone number, the person there was also unable to answer that question but said they would email me later with the answer. Three days have gone by and no answer from Generac to that question. Deducting a star from the rating because of the support experience.

Works as described
After using approximately 6 times the electric motor quit, I contacted customer service and they sent me to an authorized warranty station. They wouldn’t work on it because I didn’t buy it from them!Im still trying to figure out how to resolve, however at this time I would be skeptical of purchasingA life long gas engine power washer I was skepticalAlthough the pressure is not as strong as I would like, the ease of use more than makes up for the lower pressureAll in all it’s a decent power washer

Works great.
The large wheels makes it easy to roll. It has plenty of pressure for what I need to do. The different nozzles makes short work of pressure washing.

Great for household cleaning
Came in early take maybe 5 minutes to setup and you off to the races! Great for striping old chipping paint from houses cleaning brick exterior driveways and window's. Can be used to wash vehicles and oil and dirt from undercarriage.

Outstanding
I've used power washers in the past, but this is my first purchase of one. Works great. Easy to assemble. The big wheels make for easy manueverability. It feels solidly constructed. Should give many years of service.

Not very powerful. Not cordless either
This is an OK pressure washer. If you need to do deep cleaning, forget it. Even in turbo mode, this washer fails to remove any moss, mud, or heavy material like leaves from any concrete surface. It would be fine for cleaning the floor of a garage, but for outdoor work like decks or driveways or sidewalks, stick to gas powered pressure washers.
