I was able to save so much money installing this myself as opposed to have someone else does it for me! It came in a good, sturdy package and well protected (from shipping). Easy to install (thanks to HP manual online) and works great first time!

Doing what it's suppose to do
The screen works really well with my HP Laptop. There was a problem though, where it was one of the coldest days that my city had probably ever experienced and the screen was cold to the touch. Luckily, I contacted the East Coast LCDs (the seller I bought it from) and they responded in a day, telling me to let the screen warm up. The advice work and I am able to use my laptop once again!

Looks Great, Perfect Fit, Touch Screen Is Perfect. Exact OE Part!
A+ Worked great. I happen to have a DELL and a HP that both took this same screen - It worked in both, I compared the two with a micrometer and magnifying glass and can not see why they say HP (Yes) Dell (No).

Simple fix, touch screen doesn't work
The new screen came quickly and in a well protected box. It was easy to install and worked immediately. However, it is supposed to be a touch screen and it does not work as a touch screen. I cannot be certain it is the screen as it could be my PC that is the issue, but this was a small disappointment. The other issue I found is the ad for this lists it as both a 40pin and a 30pin; it is a 40 pin which is what I needed.

Simple and quick swap
Love Google searches on how to do things. Switching out my wife's screen was so simple. Plus a great bang for my buck.

Do not buy from this vendor. It was not touch screen!
