The media could not be loaded. Added this to trellis at the top of my fences as I had a couple of issues . A fox climbing in and out my garden, putting mud on the walls which had recently been painted and using my patio as a toilet to do its mess.In addition, a local squirrel chewed through the cable of some newly installed festoon lights in several places in less and two weeks after installation.Since installing the spikes (two weeks) , no sign of fox climbing into garden or its mess, and no sign or squirrels running across the trellis , and some new festoons are still working and no signs of damage.I’ve included a video of how I found the best way of splitting the spikes in half, as other reviews said they struggled - they are very sharp and stiff to split bare handed.You need (ideally) some protective gloves and a sharp knife or Stanley knife.With the spikes facing away from you , and gloves on, holding with both hands find the middle of the spikes with your fingers and bend back , working your way down the length of the strip . Once the whole spine is bent, simply run a sharp knife down it and they part easily . I did the whole box in about 5-10mins. Hope this helps .

It works great for cats and pigeons although does nothing for the squirrels they are just not bothered by it at all.Stops next doors cats pooing In my garden.They were not happy !Neighbours around us are using it now also as these cats are a pest.Remember though you can only use it on a fence you own

Really good product. Perfect spike length. Easy to cut. Mid lengthways valley makes it bend easily lengthways on a ridged fence top.Not the cheapest but worth it.

Bird spikes, there are in place put not secured at the moment, but they do the job of keeping the pigeons away.The spikes are made from plastic which appear to be very strong

This depends upon what you want them for. I wanted them to dissuade a cat from using a wall to enter my garden for its morning constitutional.But I wanted to put it off, not maim it for life. These are long and very sharp.For bird proofing at higher level I'm sure that they are great.

Easy to attach, so far doing a great job of keeping the big birds away from my roof

Easy to install, and plenty of them. Not sure if they are stopping cats from jumping up on my extension though.
