This is my first rice cooker and I loved it. It’s compact and doesn’t take up too much counter space. The rice came out fluffy and well cooked. It’s quite easy to use and the instructions are pretty simple to follow. I appreciate how I can use this daily for the two of us and at the same time cook for almost 8 people when my friends come over. The keep warm setting helps me during the day when I hopping between meetings and this really helps in grabbing my lunch in time. It’s a blessing that I can also cook quinoa in it, even though I haven’t tried yet but I am excited too. I don’t use dishwasher and clean it myself, which is fairly easy. I am not sure if it’s dishwasher friendly, which could be a downside for some people, but I personally don’t mind that.Happy with my purchase, value for money!

This thing is great. The rice comes out so much better than the old rice cooker I had. I haven't used all the functions on this. It is capable of doing so much. It is about the size of a small/medium crock pot . So it does take up space. If down the road it quits working, I will replace it with the same thing without question.

This is my second Reishunger rice cooker. Bought this because of the outstanding results we got making white rice with another Reishunger rice cooker. Purchased this one because needed one big enough to make rice for an Asian family of 7 and this does not disappoint. We love the profile of the rice cooker reminds us of Eve from Wall-E. It’s so easy to clean and operate that we delegate rice making to the kids. The quality of this Reishunger has not disappointed. For years we use to buy Tiger brand rice cookers, but not anymore.

This makes great rice. However, I would love to have the time left displayed on the digital display. It will show how long it has been warming, which is nice.

Everything works excellentThe only thing I wish it was different was the steaming container that is made of plastic. I expected that to be at least not plastics. I would have paid for a higher quality steamer container such as stainless steel

I have been using it to steam Chicken but to be honest, I'm not a fan of the controls. It doesn't give you a countdown on the timer and 20 minutes feels like more because it has to come to temp. It's weird and not intuitive at all.
