Mind=blown. Honestly, did not expect this to work, and especially not this fast. We bought a house with an existing, well-established 1500 gallon Koi pond end of last year. It had not been properly cleaned or really cared for last year so it had a lot of muck and junk that needed to be cleaned out this spring. We pulled out what old weeds and leaves we could, but there was a thick layer of muck (2” or more) at the bottom of the entire pond. We’re still getting to know how to work with a garden pond and didn’t want to jump to drain I g it just yet, so this was recommended to us as an alternative to draining the pond.Tossed in 20 of the tabs, as it says 12 tabs per 500 gallons and we didn’t really want to go overboard. 12 hours later, we could see rocks on the bottom we’d never seen before, and the fish are happy. Looking forward to the full effect hopefully after a few days. Very impressed.

Product has very short sustainability limit. Only worked for me for a couple of days, then I had to re-add tablets at the recommended dosage. Too much money for a product that doesn’t work well.

About a week ago I was having a party and my pond was pretty much pea soup. It’s the dead of summer and I had run out of all of my algae reducing products. I got a bottle of these and expected them to be large, about the size of a large marshmallow. But they were actually like the size of small marshmallows or sugar cubes. I actually like the size better because it’s easier to distribute them around the pond. Anyway, after a week my pond water is almost crystal clear. I still can’t see the bottom and I’m sure there is still some sludge. But the pond water improved about 80% in one week. I have used a different brand of these previously. They were much larger and I did not see this much effect. So I would say I’m going to switch brands. I’m happy with these!

Bought this to reduce sludge and help re establish good bacteria in our 2k gallon pond. On first application, our Koi went into distress and water turned cloudy. We assumed the Bactria filters still needed to get established. Big water change and re application of tablets. Same thing within a day. One more water change with tablets after a week and boom - sick fish.We immediately did one more water change and no tablets. Happy fish! It’s been 2 weeks and the pond is in great shape and fish are back to healthy.Thank God we only added a light dose of the tables or the fish would have been floaters. Many of these are 30+ years old.May be good for fish less ponds. Don’t use if want your fish to live.

First, I have yet to find any product that removes muck without needing to vacuum the bottom of the pond frequently. Also I refuse to use algaecides for obvious reasons.I have tried several versions of the more expensive microbelift liquid line...in every case zero improvement and twice my fish became ill shortly after using it.Only thing that has ever worked at about 80% effectiveness is these tablets added every few weeks along with API pondzyme sludge destroyer. These koiworx products keep sludge down better than pondzyme and pondzyme does a great job with these tabs in getting suspended junk to fall to the bottom of the pondBest set of products I have ever found and not outrageously expensive. No ill effects on fish either.Took me 10years to figure this out so I thought I should share....
