Elite Gourmet EIM-924L# 4 quart Old Fashioned Electric Ice Cream Maker, Pine Bucket

We finally got to make our first batch of homemade ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend this ice cream maker. It comes with directions and different recipes. Besides it was very easy to assemble and use! The grandkids are going to love it!

Love homemade ice cream and this looks like the old wooden ones from years ago.

Made a few batches of ice cream. Plastic gear stripped canister doesn’t turn. Looks vintage & good. Glad I kept my old vintage ice cream maker. It still works so I really didn’t need this new one. Plastic gears are fine, but this plastic must be cheap junk.

This makes super tasty and super soft ice cream (even after being in the freezer for a week!). I thought the machine was self-stopping at 45 minutes, but it’s not. 4 stars for lack of clear directions on that part, and… it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It’s hard to store with the dimensions. Check the dimensions carefully and make sure it fits in the place that you want to store this device. Otherwise, it’s great!

The best ice cream is homemade...even if the ice cream maker is electric. We bought this to replace a classic ice cream maker that finally gave up on us. This version is really quiet and churns the ice cream quickly. The unit is sturdy and looks like an old fashioned version, but with a motor for churning. Highly recommend for summer time ice cream socials with family and friends.

I love this ice cream maker, so much! It's super easy to clean, and works like a dream. It's so much fun to have the little ones help mix the ingredients, and then to watch their excitement, and the building anticipation to taste the ice cream THEY made. It makes me nostalgic for the family gatherings of my childhood, when we had to hand crank the ice cream. I don't miss the hand cranking, and now, I don't miss the taste of homemade ice cream.

Used it 1 time and it worked well. 2nd time around the top of the paddle broke off and then that was it. I was a few days passed the Amazon return policy so I can’t return. I am trying to see if the original manufacturer can help me in getting a new paddle.If it wasn’t for this broken paddle I really liked it. I just hope this being plastic isn’t the fail to this machine.
