Sturdy and well made
Perfectly weighs and measures the fish my husband catches. Lots of competing going on at the "fishing hole" between the men. This clarifies who "caught the biggest one"...not sure if that's a good thing or not =)

I had originally bought one of those tube spring scales that look like a giant T. It was advertised as having a zero adjustment knob at the bottom. It didn’t. They are factory set and offer no adjustment. If you get lucky and buy one that is zero adjusted out of the box. Great! Keep it. I expect it will last a long time. If not then you’d be stuck like me, having to buy another scale. I discovered this Goture mechanical hanging fishing scale for less money, a slightly smaller hook, but ADJUSTABLE! I’ve tested it a few times, calibrated the zero position to my satisfaction, and it works with glowing accuracy. I’m very happy with this scale, which can measure up to 50 pounds. I wish I’d spotted this scale before buying the other one. Live and learn.
