This book is a real treat for Lizzie lovers. It has all the behind-the-scenes interviews, observations and reports with all the key players at the center of the crime. Sometimes I think they wrote this book just for me because I would love to record half of it for my podcast but first I have to get their permission. This book has something for everyone. Jennings and his assistant Arthur Sherman, were excellent and obsessive note takers. They wrote down the tiniest detail. This will definitely help readers get closer to solving the crime. One of my favorite parts is Dr. Coughlin's Autopsy report. He gaves us a blow by blow account of his observations. It's pure Lizzie gold! It became apparent to me that Andrew Borden was dead before he was butchered by a hatchet. Lizzie gassed him with too much chloroform, in my opinion as an ex-critical care nurse. This book is a steal at this price, it's worth so much more. I've been waiting 5 years for this kind of knowledge. Thank you, scholars!

An interesting and informative collection that offers a look into Jennings' building his defense of Lizzie Borden (although I think he secretly suspected her guilty). It's a very nice juxtaposition to the Knowlton Papers. Hosea Knowlton was the chief prosecution attorney.

A great addition for anyone wanting some more perspective on the case.
