I bought one of these to upgrade an Ender 5 to direct drive and I am impressed with both the build and the fact that the spacers to convert to a dual gear extruder were supplied with it. Everything fits back as it should do: hot end, fan enclosure and bl touch all mount in exactly the some position as before without any fiddling.The additional wheel adds more stability although you really need to move the x axis microswitch back a bit to return the printer to homing properly. If you don't do this and have a bltouch fitted it can hit the left had side when changing filament. It's simple to do but better to be aware of this and deal with it before you find the printer making some interesting noises.The one thing I would say is that if you are using the original single gear extruder and have the original board then print quality could drop once converted to direct drive. Bowden cables may not be great in some ways but all that extra length between the extruder and hot end absorbs a lot or vibration and resonances that will be very visible in prints when using Direct drive. Consider using this upgrade with a proper silent board and dual gear extruder or even a smoother and you will see a noticeable improvement in print quality.

never used a microswiss so cant comment but for a fraction of the price, this can be used for the same purpose, its cheap its strong... its defo worth the money.
