Hp Elitebook 845 a great value and fast
This Hp 845 g7 16gb 512 ssd ryzen 5, Windows 10 pro was a great bargin . very well packaged and powered right up, went ahead and let windows 11 pro install free upgrade on microsoft. After the battery fully charged I streamed a hd movie after 3 hours the battery still had 41% charge left. I have a I7 Hp laptop only 8gb ram to slow and this was not much more than upgrading $$, $255 and like new

Worth it!
This was one of my best Amazon finds so far. Finding a really nice laptop under $250. Perfect. It has been about 6 months now and I still have no issue. Clicking around is fast, plenty of storage for the computer I picked. It came well packaged. If I remember correctly, it was wrapped in heavily inflated bubble sleeve in a box with more paper and the charger. So it made it safe to the house. It was refurbished so slight and I mean slight wear was there. (All cosmetic - a little light scratch here or there on the outer shell and a tiny dent there as well). Some smudges/pesky residue from some sticker adhesive was there but nothing a little wipe couldn't fix. It works fine! Quick and super nice. The only think I got to get used to is the buttons are at the top of the mouse pad instead of the bottom. The metal shell I like. If I am thinking right. I got the 16GB RAM and the 512GB Memory. It has been really useful so far.I especially like the light up keyboard since I could never see my keys on my old one.All in all money well spent.

Good, but requires some IT work
Laptop arrived in good condition physically. However, the Windows 10 install on it was bad. There were some issues with Windows Defender, Microsoft store, and drivers that run other software installers that could not be resolved with force updates through Powershell. Ultimately, I grabbed the Windows key from regedit and performed a fresh install using a Windows 10 USB image that I created on another computer. Once the primary Windows partition was formatted and the new OS copy installed, the computer worked flawlessly.

Great laptop
I unboxed this laptop expecting the common covered with sticker film to cover scratches 😄.This laptop however was in near mint condition, no easily detected scratches, good battery, not swollen, brand name SSD.I configured it for secure boot and cleared the TPM.I had Windows 11 installed on it within an hour, it handles very smooth.I have been doing IT for 34 years the last six with the US government, and I bought it because I liked the model, We used it in the government. This is by far the best off lease computer I have ever purchased from Amazon. I strongly suggest using this refurbisher.I will be buying two more before Christmas, I seriously hope they are as good as this one.

DOA
Laptop was DOA. Would not power on at all. I tried to charge it, nothing happened. Still dead. I immediately packed it up and returned it.

Crazy good value
Very pleased with this purchase, the price was absolutely insane for how nice it is. I had been looking for refurbished laptops for a few months before finding this and either they would have 8 gigs of ram, a non-touchscreen, crappy plastic design, or an ARM processor. Most of those were STILL more expensive than this one. The only downside is that the seller included some weird looking sparkly stickers over everything. To their credit they did such a good job applying them that I initially thought that may have just been what the laptop looked like. I figured that they did that to cover up scratches or something, but after removing them I can't find any scratches anywhere and it all looks gorgeous. Weird decision, but either way 5 stars well deserved.

Charging cord/battery doesn’t work.
Disappointed the charger cable that came with the laptop does not work left it charging over night and only charged to 15%. Not sure if the cable is faulty or the actual internal battery. Will lost likely be returning item.

Solid laptops, Solid company
Product: HP EliteBook 845 G7 Business Laptop (Renewed)Review: Solid laptops with decent speed, specs, and appropriate modernity for ~$250. Very satisfied. Freshly configured with Windows 10 Pro install, eligible for upgrade to windows 11 Pro.Company: Think Refurbished ComputersReview: Solid on all fronts (and I experienced all fronts)Context: Ordered three laptops for company use. One was DOA. One had a defective trackpad. One was great. Returned DOA immediately - the returns process was incredibly simple. Indicated defect, they send a guy to your door with a shipping label, you hand them back the item, and a few weeks later, you get your money back. Similarly, on discovering the defective trackpad a few days later, the process was the same. No fuss, no complaints, didn't have to fight anyone. I ordered four more laptops for a total of five working laptops. All other shipped items worked properly. Packaging of each item was simple and effective - one sleeve for laptop, one padded laptop envelope, one snug box, and a power cord packed to ensure minimal disturbance to the tech.Interesting things that don't ultimately negatively affect anything: The pricing fluctuates based on some hidden formula of supply and demand, I think -> when I ordered replacement laptops for the ones I had to send back (and additional laptops) they were ~$8 more expensive. Not a big deal, and still a solid price. The included chargers were all over the place with their specs - output wattage and all that - but all were functional. They don't remove their company wifi password info from the devices when they set them up, so if you order them and live by their facility, see if you can get on their network, just for fun. Every laptop comes with a QC sheet where someone checks off on each item - I know a lot can go wrong with shipping and storage, but it's still somewhat amusing to see an item checked off for QC while simultaneously not working.
